Bradford Cohen, the lawyer for Chicago rapper Polo G, recently spoke out about his client’s treatment by Miami law enforcement following the rapper’s 2021 arrest. The issue comes from the release of the body can footage.
Lawyer for Rapper Polo G BLASTS Miami Police for the Release of 2021 Arrest Bodycam Footage – Police Claim They Didn’t Release It
In speaking with TMZ, Cohen claims that the police didn’t release the whole video and that what was released was “highly edited”. He would also call the whole thing is childish on the Miami PD’s part. He pointed out that the parts that got out “disparage the defendant.” Cohen says that the part where officers allegedly roughed up Polo G was cut as was the reason for stopping him.
On that, Bradford Cohen says that Miami police were salty over not being unable to arrest his client because they lacked probable cause. He would also remind us that the case was pretty much dismissed as Polo G did as the court requested and attended anger management classes.

The footage does show the “3 Headed Goat” artist giving officers an earful but Cohen said that’s just part of the job for officers. In asking the police about the video, TMZ was told that their agency didn’t release the video. The lawyer said that they must have a leak in their department.
To sum all of this up, this is a vindictive campaign by the police, according to Cohen.
