The musician was rushed into hospital on a stretcher with widespread concern over the state of his health. It soon transpired that Travis had an issue with his pancreas, as doctors confirmed he had pancreatitis.
This was causing the star a lot of pain in his stomach to the point that it was no longer bearable. And given that Shanna and Travis are on good terms for the sake of their co-parenting, this has not been easy to deal with.
That is why she thanked everybody for the kind words that were sent her way. In an official statement, Shanna said: “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern to my ex and father of my children.
“I know he is in great hands and surrounded by loving support and the best medical teams available and his beautiful wife Kourtney.”
Shanna still has a big role to play. The fact that she had two children with Travis means she has the responsibility to look out for their welfare in light of their father’s ill health.
After all, her daughter Alabama was very vocal about how much she had been worrying to the point where she requested that her fans send their ‘prayers.’ In this way, Shanna has vowed to step up to the plate and do everything in her power.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I pray for a speedy recovery and for the comfort of my children as I know they are very concerned and worried…I will always be there for him and my children.”
Travis will need all the support that he can get, and Shanna’s comments only go on to confirm that he is in a really good place. And that should aid him in making a swift recovery. Time will tell how this will all play out going forward.
