Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is receiving sweet birthday wishes from her royal in-laws. Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and Prince William took to Twitter on Thursday, August 4, 2022, to share a message to the former “Suits” actress on her 41st birthday. The royal couple Tweeted, “Wishing a happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex,” and added a picture of Meghan from her recent visit to the U.K. for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Meghan also received birthday wishes from Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. The royal couple shared a similar picture of Meghan orom the Service of Thanksgiving she attended alongside her husband in the Queen’s honor at St. Paul’s Cathedral on June 3. They wrote, “Happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!” adding the balloon emoji.

Meghan is spending her birthday privately with her husband and kids. The Duchess of Sussex was in London in June for the Queen’s record-breaking 70 years on the throne. This gave her daughter, Lilibet the opportunity to meet her great-grandmother for the first time. Lilibet is named Queen Elizabeth, as Lilibet was the Queen’s childhood nickname.
When Meghan clocked 40 last year, she announced her 40×40 initiative. She urged people to commit 40 minutes of their time to support women who were returning to work. She announced the initiative with the help of comedian Melissa McCarthy over a video call — and toward the end of the clip, her husband, the prince, made a surprise appearance!
Prince Harry and Meghan are now living their life as a family of four in Montecito, California, since they stepped down from their roles as senior working members of the royal family in 2020. The couple have been largely focused on their Archewell Foundation, bringing attention to various charitable efforts. They recently traveled to N.Y.C., where the prince addressed the UN as part of Nelson Mandela Day.
