Kicking off the final night of G1 Climax action are some familiar foes. The NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Champions, YOH, YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto have Tomohiro Ishii coming along to battle the entirety of House of Torture. CHAOS had some big success in the G1 Climax with Okada in the finals tonight, YOSHI-HASHI & HIrooki Goto having some of their best tournaments, and Ishii finishing strong with a victory over SANADA – which House of Torture saw EVIL lose to Zack Sabre Jr in literally seconds.

CHAOS Tears The House Of Torture Down

CHAOS would attack before the bell, much to the glee of the fans. They’d stack up House of Torture in the middle of the ring one aftyer another, before dog piling EVIL – but the referee refused to count what was atleast a seven count. EVIL was able to regain control, before House of Torture would isolate Goto with some tight striking.

Ishii getting the tag was horrible for House of Torture, as he’d tear through four men – sending three to the floor, and Yujiro Takahashi crashing down onto them. Dick Togo got the tag, and would be crushed with a backdrop driver. YOH would show some speed with a running uppercut to the spine, but Bishamon hit Violent Flash. Direct Drive would land – and CHAOS ran House of Torture out of the building.

TMDK & Team Filthy Steal The Show

We’ve seen many tag team clashes between TMDK & Team Filthy, and tonight we get one more. JONAH is flying high after a win over Kazuchika Okada in block action, he’s watching tonight’s main event closely – potentially having another path to the main event of Wrestle Kingdom, but can’t overlook Tom Lawlor & Royce Isaacs.

Tom Lawlor won over so many fans in Japan with his tournament, and would soak in the reaction again. It’s been great to have him, and without doubt he’ll be back in Japan before we know it. JONAH meanwhile was not pinned or submitted across this tour, only losing two matches due to count out. Needless to say, NJPW Strong’s involvement in the tournament was well received.

JONAH would start by stomping Lawlor into the mat, before being sent into the corner and being punched by Lawlor & Isaacs. Tito would regain control, chopping away at Lawlor before a short arm lariat. Lawlor applied the submission, before being tossed aside with a snap suplex.

A dropkick to the neck and a kneebar into a pinfall would get a two count, before Lawlor grabbed the arm and leg for submission. Filthy Four was applied, and JONAH sat on Lawlor to get his partner free. Isaacs hit the ring with some heavy lariats, but Tito fought free with the three point stance – only to take a knee strike.

Isaacs would be dropped with an elbow smash, and JONAH hit the bodyslam and rolling cannonball. Lawlor worked to choke JONAH out, before hitting the PK to the chest – with Tito breaking the pinfall up. JONAH hit the Black Forest Bomb and Torpedo Splash, and this over.

    Jeff Cobb Isn’t Human

United Empire had plans to win all four blocks in the G1 Climax, but had to settle for leader Will Ospreay winning the D-Block, and making the finals tonight. Now, Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan are setting their eyes back on the tag team division – much like Chase Owens & Bad Luck Fale, who traded the belts with United Empire earlier this year, and both want another crack at FTR.

Owens & Fale would quickly look to end things with Grenade Launcher – but Henare fought free before being run down with the shoulder tackle. He’d be taken to the Tongan Massage Parlor, and Owens would snap the knee on the mat.

Great-O-Khan would regain control of the match, dropping Fale and throwing Owens onto his partner. Cobb got the tag, and it took Owens, Robinson & Fale to almost take him down – but Robinson was caught out of the sky and into Tour of the Islands for the easy win.

Who deserves to challenge FTR next? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
