R Kelly is a celebrity, he is a popular RnB singer and lastly, he is a sex offender and a pedophile. After losing his previous trial, now he is in Chicago court once more.
R.Kelly is now facing charges of alluring girls for sex and for producing child pornography. Furthermore, he is facing charges for rigging the 2008 child pornography case.
The Jury In R Kelly Case Will Be Shown A Video Where He Has Sex With A Minor
It is not like this has come out of the blue. It has been years since R Kelly’s sexual wrongdoings were a public ‘secret’. However, even though everybody knows, he looked like he is invincible. Like nobody could ‘catch him’. Even now, after everything is out in the limelight, and he is already sentenced to jail, he claims that he is not guilty. He denies any wrongdoings.
But, this time the prosecutor has had enough. He has a hold of a videotape of the RnB star, and he is willing to reveal it to the jury. Finally, someone will show Kelly’s dark side and reveal everything that Kelly has kept hidden until now.
It is gross to even think and write about it, but the assistant US Attorney Jason Julien pledges to show the judge and jurors parts of THREE videotapes that show R Kelly getting into sexual interaction with his 14-year-old goddaughter Jane.
“The defendant, Robert Kelly, had sex with multiple children…… He made videotapes of himself having sex with children.” – Julien reveals to the court.
The prosecutors describe R Kelly as an extremely ‘sick’ person that had sex with minors hundreds of times. Furthermore, he went the distance to even tape most of them, so he can have the tapes to witness about his deeds and satisfy his future sexually sick needs.
“R. Kelly videotaped himself having sex with multiple children including in vile footage where he repeatedly referred to his goddaughter’s anatomy.” – Prosecutors alleged in the opening statement of his Fed trial in Chicago.
It is really strange and bizarre how R Kelly’s lawyers fail to see this as something that is beyond sick. They repeatedly fail to see this as something that needs to be sentenced respectively. They are opposing the views of their client as a ‘monster’. Furthermore, they ask for people to not believe the prosecutor’s portrayal of Kelly.
“The government wants to paint him as a monster. But, you remember we are talking about a human being.” – Jennifer Bonjean, R Kelly’s lawyer told during her opening statement.
She continued to explain how R Kelly has risen from poverty to stardom all by himself. She says she believes that he deserves respect for it.
