Mandy Rose is closing in on 315 days as NXT Women’s Champion, but tonight she faces her biggest challenge yet as she looks to unify the NXT & NXT UK Women’s Championships. Not only does she have the upstart Blair Davenport to contend with, but The Final Boss herself – and reigning NXT UK Women’s Champion, Meiko Satomura. Rose has faced hard odds before, but might finally find herself outgunned here tonight. However – if she leaves with both titles
All Out Action From The Opening Bell
Rose & Davenport would start off by trying to double team Satomura, and ran her down with a double back elbow smash. A double suplex followed, before they both looked for the pinfall and got into a shoving match. Satomura would look to take advantage with a roll up, before looking for a German Suplex on Rose.
Rose would escape and hit a cartwheel dropkick, before Davenport would drag her to the floor and nail a scoop slam. Davenport would hit the running hurricanrana before a dropkick to the spine for a near fall. Rose would be dragged to the floor by Satomura before taking a forearm to the jaw. Davenport would try and attack Satomura – before being kicked into the ring steps.
Rose drove Satomura into the barricade, before Davenport hit a double stomp the back of Rose. Satomura & Davenport hit the ring, before Satomura hit the takedown and applied an STF. Davenport would block into a cradle pinfall, before Rose would stop a springboard attempt. Rose would trade blows with Satomura in the middle of the ring – and lost out, before hitting the ropes for a lariat.
Mandy Rose Makes History
Satomura would take a big spinebuster, before Davenport slipped into the ring and hit the Northern Lights Suplex for a near fall. Rose took Davenport off the top rope with a superplex, before Satomura would hit a frog splash for a near fall. Satomura would run both ladies down with elbow strikes and kicks, before Davenport dodged the Satomura Special kick.
Davenport & Rose would be stacked and dropped with the Satomura Special, but Rose broke up the pinfall. Angels Wings from Rose would be blocked, and Satomura hit a Death Valley Bomb. Davenport broke up the pinfall with a double stomp before hitting Satomura with a Kamigoye – but only got a near fall. The shotgun dropkick from the top rope would land for Davenport, before Rose would block a brainbuster and look for the running knee. Davenport would block with a roll up, before Scorpio Rising.
Satomura looked for the pinfall, but was knocked from the ring by the knee strike – and Davenport was pinned. The Unifed NXT Women’s Champion is Mandy Rose – but Satomura might be looking for that rematch soon.
