Originally, Ten was supposed to face Andrade El Idolo in a big time singles match tonight – celebrating two years from the final match of The Exalted One, Mr. Brodie Lee. However, things have been shuffled about – and instead, Dark Order are going for gold once again. Alongside John Silver & Alex Reynolds, Ten will get a chance to challenge for the AEW World Trios Championships – currently held by Death Triangle. PAC, Rey Fenix & Penta Oscuro have been on another level as Trios champions, and will not be giving them up without a fight tonight.
Dark Order Look To Honor The Late Mr. Brodie Lee
Death Triangle would split this one off into a brawl as the bell rang – with Dark Order taking the advantage. Fenix was left in the ring with Ten, as Silver & Reynolds dove to the floor. Ten would hit the deadlift suplex, flaunting his power before Reynolds hit a slingshot elbow drop.
Penta would get the tag, but walked right into a superkick from Reynolds. Silver would get the tag and traded strikes with Penta, before running him down with a back elbow smash. Ten would get the tag and took a superkick from Penta, before PAC tagged in to a forearm smash to the face.
Reynolds would be forced into the corner by PAC, and Fenix would hit one of his signature overhand chops. Fenix would be dropped and thrown face first into the Dark Order corner. Silver would hit a snap suplex, and would get a two count.
Back to the corner, Ten got the tag – and would take Fenix to the Death Triangle corner before a Fallaway Slam back to Dark Order country. Fenix would set up a powerbomb from Silver to Reynolds with a superkick, before rolling Ten into a foot stomp.
Penta would get the tag and dove in with a crossbody, before hitting a Death Valley Driver into the corner and a backstabber for a near fall. PAC would get the tag and kicked Reynolds in the face before a beautiful snap German Suplex with a bridge for the two count. Silver would save the match, before Reynolds would take dropkicks from three different directions.
Death Triangle Take A Beating
Fenix would hit a spinebuster, setting up a diving foot stomp from Penta into the tailbone. A two count would follow, before Fenix applied a Straight Jacket Clutch to wear Reynolds down. Penta would get the tag and almost get the armbreaker, but would settled for a chest splitting chop on the ropes. PAC took Reynolds to the floor, and hit a vicious snap suplex.
Silver & Ten would motivate Reynolds to get to this feet and back into the ring – where PAC met him with a kick to the back to the head. Reynolds would be choked in the corner, before Penta would tease allowing him to tag out before taking him into the surfboard stretch before PAC stomped him back into the mat.
PAC would telegraph the back body drop, and Reynolds made the counter – and a much needed tag. Ten would run Lucha Bros down with a double lariat, before some spinebusters. He’d lead the crowd in a Ten chant, before applying the Full Nelson – with PAC & Penta helping Fenix get free.
Death Triangle would hit a triple superkick on Ten, before Risky Business trios splash for a two count. Ten would get the tag to Silver, and PAC would trade forearm smashes and pump kicks, before a German Suplex from PAC. Silver was quick to his feet with some kicks and a deadlift brainbuster.
La Faccion Ingobernables Influence The Finish
A Brodie Lee chant would break out as Fenix would be isolated. Pendulum Bomb would be blocked the first time, but the second time it’d land for a two count. Penta would get the tag and hit a backstabber, before the Fear Factor was countered. Reynolds & Silver hit the Stunner into a German Suplex before the Discuss Lariat… and PAC broke the pinfall up.
Jose & RUSH would hit ringside, distracted the referee and allowing PAC to use the hammer to knock Reynolds out. In the ring, PAC applied the Brutalizer for the win.
