In Richmond, Kentucky, authorities arrested three in connection to a fight that escalated into a shooting and resulted in a drug seizure.
The incident occurred on October 6, 2022 and involves allegations of cheating. The three arrested were Jerrod Parrish (28), Jonneisha Lewis (32), and Jayrron Nickerson.
Domestic Dispute Leads to 3 Being Arrested and Drug Seizure in Kentucky
Police were called to a domestic dispute and shots fired on Aqueduct Drive. From the citations of the couple—Parrish and Lewis—Lewis allegedly caught Parrish cheating.
She hid all of his drugs and cash before confronting him only for him to pistol whip and attack her. Lewis tried to run away and dodged a bullet as Parrish missed.
According to Lewis, Nickerson wasn’t involved in the incident. However, witnesses saw Nickerson leave the residence with a backpack. That raised suspicion and a sniffer dog was called in.
The bag was found ditched behind a nearby apartment. Inside, Madison County deputies found half a pound of heroin, 12 grams of a substance suspected of being fentanyl, two grams of suspected meth, pills that have yet to be identified, and two firearms.
Jerrod Parrish was charged with assault for 1st, 2nd, and 4th-degree domestic violence. He also faces drug charges for aggravated trafficking of heroin, trafficking meth, opiates, and an unknown drug, wanton endangerment, and handgun possession.
His wife, Jonneisha Lewis was hit with four counts of child endangerment, criminal mischief in the first degree, and two facilitation charges for the trafficking of meth and heroin.
Meanwhile, Jayrron Nickerson was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a handgun by a felon, trafficking meth, aggravated trafficking of heroin, trafficking within 1000 feet of a school, marijuana possession, evidence tampering, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
