Jake Paul starts bragging about his ‘huge’ plans even before the ‘greatest fight’ of his boxing career is over. Days before the Anderson Silva match, Jake Paul decided to take to social media and mock the ‘gypsy King’ Tyson Fury.
Tyson Fury will have a trilogy match against Derek Chisora in December. Whether he will remain on top, or Chisora will strip him down of his title is about to be seen.
Jake Paul Mocks “Fat” Tyson Fury And Announces Moving To Heavyweight
While many critics see this just as a joke, some people believe that Jake Paul might indeed go to heavyweight if Tyson Fury is to accept a fight. Guess Fury is second in line since Floyd Mayweather did not bother to even acknowledge the ‘Problem child’ as a legitimate boxer.
“In six days I fight Anderson Silva. But, after that, fat Jake is moving up to the heavyweight division to fight my brotha from anotha mother. Tyson Fury.” – Jake Paul wrote in a tweet above a video of him with a fake stomach and double chin. “The heavyweight division has been real quiet since this announcement.”
Jake Paul has been in contact with the Fury family before this as well. He should’ve faced the undisputed Tommy Fury, Tyson’s brother. However, the match got canceled and Jake Paul found himself a new opponent. The new opponent was Hasim Rahman Jr. A boxer that also did not manage to get to the end of the line and enter the ring with the Youtuber. The reason behind the bout’s cancellation is a bit unclear. But, Jake Paul claims it was due to an issue with his opponent’s weight. Finally, Anderson Silva stepped in, and seems like this will be finally happening.
Seems like nobody will give any attention to Jake Paul until his bout against Anderson Silva is over. Furthermore, he might draw attention to him only if he beats Silva. However, if Jake Paul loses to Anderson Silva, then, that might be the end of his short boxing career.
Tyson Fury did not acknowledge Jake Paul’s call out. He didn’t reply to it and most probably won’t reply at all. After all, Tyson Fury is one of the most famous boxers of all time. He has a professional record of 32-0-1. As of August 2022, Tyson is the world’s best active heavyweight boxer, pound for pound as per official rankings. He held the WBC, WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring titles after defeating Klitschko in 2015.
