In case you were wondering, the Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva match does surprisingly well in regard to ticket sales. Or at least that’s what the Boxing scene is reporting.

Anderson Silva is Jake Paul’s third opponent in the past year. However, with the previous two, the situation did not evolve to the point of fruition. The matches were canceled at the last moment due to various reasons. While Jake Paul reports that he canceled the matches due to visa problems and weight issues, the public was not accepting that as a valid reason for the cancellation.

There were rumors when the Anderson Silva vs Jake Paul match was still in negotiations that the event might get canceled as well due to the audience not showing much interest in it. At least not enough for it to generate enough revenue to pay the organizational expenses and have enough to pay the fighters as well.

However, according to the most recent reports, the match is one of the highest-grossing boxing events for ticket revenue in the history of the Desert Diamond Arena. Furthermore, it is the second highest-grossing ticket event across all combat sports, second to UFC 263 event.

The UFC 263 event is the highest-grossing combat sports event in the history of the arena. The event’s headline was the Israel Adesanya vs Marvin Vettori fight. Nate Diaz was also on the fight card.

The fight card for the Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva match will consist of several matches. The preliminary streaming bouts include a six-round heavyweight match between Jeremiah Milton (6-0) vs Quintin Sumter (5-0). In addition, there will be a featherweight match between Ogleidis Suarez (30-4) and Shadania Green (10-0). There will be one women’s middleweight bout and one bantamweight bout as well.

The hype for the match is real, however, many boxing fans are labeling the match a ‘joke’. UFC fans label Anderson Silva as one of the greatest MMA fighters. However, his prime days are over since long ago. His last 9 fights in MMA formed a result of 2-7-0, which is not something to be proud of. In addition, he is 47 years old and even though he is still a tough fighter, his age does affect his conditioning and strength.

On the other side, Jake Paul is a 25-year-old newbie boxer that has a record of 5-0-0. Furthermore, these 5 wins are not against some professional boxers, but Youtubers, MMA fighters out of their prime, and inexperienced boxers.

What do you predict? Can Anderson Silva win the match? Will it end in a KO?
