WellChild Award winners interviewed Prince Harry through a video conference call, and he amazed the world with his goodheartedness and love for dogs. He revealed the number of pets he has in his home, and how he spends time with them.
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle are patrons of the Well Child organization since long ago. They support WellChild’s cause and believe that “it is possible for children and young people with exceptional health needs to be cared for at home instead of hospital.” Prince Harry supports the organization as early as 2007, and his wife, Meghan joined him in 2018.

Unfortunately, this year it was simply impossible for the Prince to attend WellChild Award ceremony. He and his wife were planning to attend it. But they we’re unable to due to the worsening health of the late Queen. Instead, they travelled to Scotland and saw Queen Elizabeth, few weeks before she passed away.
One of the students doing the interview with Prince Harry had a dog interrupting her every now and then. So naturally, she apologized and sparked the conversation about dogs. The young student revealed that her dog is in training to become a service dog, and help her with anxiety.
“We all need a dog that keeps us calm. I’ve got three in the house now. So we basically have five children.” – Prince Harry beautifully replied continuing to list the names of all his pets. He revealed that he and his family take care of one black Labrador, Pula, and two beagles, Guy and Mia.
“Between the three of them, they charge around chasing squirrels and causing all sorts of problems to us every single day.” – Prince Harry explained. “But they are also emotional support dogs, 100%when they’re behaving.”
While speaking with one of the award winners, Prince Harry explained what his children are busy with at the moment.
“Archie is very, very busy. And Lili is learning to use her voice, which is great.” – Harry explained. “I just want to say an enormous thank you to every single one of you. Not just for giving your time this evening, but also just for being the most incredible human beings that we know of.”
“Every single one of you, what you’re doing is incredible. You are inspiring people up and down the country and around the world.” – Harry told the children.
Animal lover Meghan Markle on the other hand has rescued numerous dogs over the years. She is the one that brought Guy to the UK when she married the Prince. Prince Harry also told a story on how when Meghan met his grandmother the Queen, her dogs immediately loved her.
