The comments were made alongside her co-host, Hoda Kotb, on the ‘Today with Hoda and Jenna.” And this all came to a head as the pair were made to share a dressing room, which is when this revelation was discovered.
And at the time, Kotb could not help but notice that something was different. In her comments, she said: “I just had a little shock with it.”
This could have been a very embarrassing moment for Jenna, since the last thing she expected was the globe audience to hear about her underwear.
And yet, rather than being taken aback by it all, she decided to play along with the running joke. And in the process of doing so, she sought to justify her decision on the basis that it made her come across in a better light.
In her response, she stated: “It makes a more pretty silhouette! I also think you don’t have to pack as much. There’s a lot of pros to it!” Nevertheless, Jenna did not let Kobt get away with that revelation.
It turns out that Kobt was not supposed to disclose this to anyone. It is not exactly clear if Jenna was joking about her disapproval, but one thing for sure is that she wants to avoid something like this from happening again.
Jenna’s following comments confirmed as much: “You promised me you wouldn’t do this! There’s a lot of people here. I’m sure my mom has never been more proud.”
The fans on social media were shocked at this claim. And in the process of doing so, the comments were very ridiculing indeed. One person wrote: “Atta girl! Air it out! Ah ok that was tasteless. I know, sorry to offend. Couldn’t help myself.”
