Prince Harry announced working on his memoir a couple of months ago, and the publisher announced that it will be out on January 10th, 2023. The news about the ‘estranged’ prince writing a memoir emerge, and rumors about its controversy pile up from all sides. Even though the memoir will ‘tell-all’ about Prince Harry’s experience in Buckingham palace, seems like the Prince willspare one family member from putting dirt on her name. Reports claim that Prince Harry will be completely affectionate and loving towards his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
According to the Royal expert, Jennie Bond, the memoir ‘Spare’ will not be an easy read for most of the members of the Royal family. The Publishing house, Penguin Random House promises readers that the book is written with ‘raw honesty’. In addition, it will reveal the most well-kept secrets of Prince Harry, and the explosive material about Prince Harry’s childhood will blow the readers’ minds.
Prince Harry Is Affectionate Towards His Grandmother In His Controversial Memoir ‘Spare’
“I’m afraid people are going to get trampled on by this book. ‘Raw’ and ‘unflinching’ aren’t words the palace will be happy to hear.” – Jennie Bond told her interviewer from OK magazine.
The royal expert thinks that there will be some shocking revelations in the book. However, she is sure that they won’t be as controversial as people expect. According to her, Prince Harry most probably won’t explain much about particular family members of the royal family. But he will generally speak about the system in which he and his family found themselves.
“Any bile, if there is any, will be mostly directed at the system. The system in which Harry feels he was so trapped and in which he still believes his father King Charles and his brother Prince William are trapped.” – she said. “I think he’ll be very loving towards his grandmother. She very much loved Harry.”
Jennie Bond claims with certainty that the younger Prince will mention his grandmother’s death in his memoir. It is unclear though what she exactly meant. Did she mean he will just describe it and how he felt at the time? Or maybe he will address a whole chapter about the Queen and his relationship with her.
Prince Harry loved his grandmother as well. After her death, he gave a statement that was touching and emotional. He said he always appreciated her ‘sound advice’ and he will always remember her ‘infectious smile’. The prince revealed that he saw her as a ‘guiding compass’ that knew exactly what to do.
“In celebrating the life of my grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen – and in mourning her loss – we are all reminded of the guiding compass she was to so many in her commitment to service and duty. The world admired and respected her. Her unwavering grace and dignity remained true throughout her life and now her everlasting legacy. Let us echo the words she spoke after the passing of her husband, Prince Philip, words which can bring comfort to all of us now: ‘Life, of course, consists of final partings as well as first meetings.” – Prince Harry said.
“Granny, while this final parting brings us great sadness, I am forever grateful for all of our first meetings – from my earliest childhood memories with you, to meeting you for the first time as my Commander-in-Chief, to the first moment you met my darling wife and hugged your beloved great-grandchildren.” – he continued. “I cherish these times shared with you, and the many other special moments in between.
We already sorely miss you, not just us, but the world over. And as it comes to first meetings, we now honour my father in his new role as King Charles III. Thank you for your commitment to service. Thank you for your sound advice. And thank you for your infectious smile. We, too, smile knowing that you and grandpa reunite now, and both together in peace.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle found themselves in the UK when Queen Elizabeth II died. They were attending numerous charity events. Rumors told that they also traveled there to promote his memoir. The memoir that could strip both Meghan and Prince Harry of their titles.
There are different rumors circling the newsletters now. Some of them claim that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may avoid going to Buckingham Palace for Christmas. Some of them claim that they will go with a purpose to explain the story he told in the memoir before its publication.
Tom Bower, a royal expert, and biographer, claims that this won’t be a pleasant Christmas for anyone at the palace. They are all ‘bracing themselves’ for it, as it will be 416 pages of pure controversy.
Reportedly, the final version is not the worst version of the book. According to ‘The Sun’, the book has undergone massive revisions.
“The book has been back and forth between Harry and ghostwriter JR Moehringer and the publishers a few times. They want more than what the first draft had. Then Harry wanted to refine things after the Queen passed away. But there has been extra toing and froing that people don’t know about. This is because the publishers want Prince Harry to cover more areas and give more detail on some things that he already wrote. There is a real concern that that means Harry has had to sex up the book and include revelations that even he might not even be that comfortable with.”
Royal experts claim that there is not much that King Charles can do about the book in any case. He can threaten to withhold the titles of his grandchildren Lilibeth and Archie and take away Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s titles. But there is not much more he can do. According to experts, it is highly likely that the royal family will break ties with the Sussexes.
