While the memoir receives criticism from everywhere, one of the loudest critics is exactly Meghan Markle’s sister, Samantha Markle. She says that the book is ‘cold, malicious and reckless’, and blames it all on her sister, Meghan Markle. She says that her sister is the one standing behind the memoir, fueling Prince Harry’s hypocritical pity party.

“With regard to the book Spare, I have, like the rest of the planet, obviously, not read it yet. But the idea that there was an alleged request or appeal for money between Harry and King Charles and when King Charles turned him down, reportedly he said he would go ahead with the book seems like extortion on the surface and blackmail.” – Samantha Markle told TheSteepleTimes. “We can only hope that the book will not be slanderous and scandalous.
But after everything that has transpired, it seems like such a cold, malicious, and reckless disregard for his own family. Especially the father who has given him everything. Just like my father gave my sister everything, they seem to be two peas in a pod where using and disposing of others, when they don’t get their way is concerned. Some people are not capable of empathy remorse shame or gratitude.”
Samantha Markle is not in a great relationship with her half-sister Meghan Markle. In fact, she has never been in a good relationship with her. However, in the recent period, seems like the resentment between the two reached its peak moment. She claims that the Duchess of Sussex is the one standing behind Prince Harry’s switch in character over the years and that she is the one that is pushing him to do controversial statements, and to even get into controversial businesses.
As we all know, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry already signed deals with Spotify and Netflix. The public, especially the Royal family fans consider the deals controversial. The companies expect the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to not stand back and tell all about their lives as part of the Royal family.
Samantha Markle points out at one thing when speaking about Prince Harry and the controversy surrounding his memoir. Samantha Markle points out another thing that she sees as hypocritical by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The fact that they ‘act’ to be so concerned about the mental health of people around the world. The way they address and encourage people to seek help for mental health issues. It was not long ago when Prince Harry made an appearance at a mental health summit in San Francisco.
He spoke about the ‘value of therapy and coaching’. Before this, when they attended the Oprah show, they spoke about mental health as well. The Duke even said how Meghan Markle encouraged him to speak to a professional about his health.
“I saw GPs, I saw doctors, I saw therapists, I saw alternative therapists, and I saw all sorts of people. But it is meeting and being with Meghan.” – Prince Harry told Oprah. “I knew that if I didn’t do the therapy and fix myself that I was going to lose this woman whom I could see spending the rest of my life with. When she said, ‘I think you need to see someone’, it was in reaction to an argument that we had. And in that argument, not knowing about it, I reverted back to 12-year-old Harry. The moment I started therapy, it was probably within my second session, my therapist turned around to me and said, ‘That sounds like you’re reverting to 12-year-old Harry.’”
Reflecting on his therapies, Prince Harry explained how he found out that all the trauma and mental issues that he had were connected to his past. However, while speaking about his mental state, the Prince didn’t take into consideration the damage he causes to his family. The stress and the effect that these conversations have on them.
“More than anything that is glaring is that while he posits the idea of mental health as being so important, neither he nor my sister seems to have any regard for the mental health of their families and others whom they have stepped on.” – Samantha Markle slams the Duke and Duchess. “They preach about the need for hearing peoples’ voices. But they don’t care about the voices of those whom they have knowingly wronged. The world noted their hypocrisy.”
Samantha Markle honestly thinks that Prince William has turned out to be more loyal and more cautious about his family’s mental health than Prince Harry. She is certain that the approach to life that Prince William has is healthier and more respectful than the one that Harry leads.
“Prince William has honoured the legacy of his mother beautifully and carried on with integrity and loyalty. He understands the concept of role models and the importance of family. Prince Harry, on the other hand, seems to use the victim card as a crutch for accountability and integrity in every area of his life, in my opinion. I like the title of the book only in that maybe he should ‘spare’ us all the hypocritical pity party.”
