In Thunder Bay, Ontario, four people were arrested after a motel room was raided on a drug trafficking-related search warrant. Authorities seized cocaine and meth as a result of the raid.
Four In Ontario Arrested For Drug Trafficking and Possession Following Raid – $280K in Coke and Meth Seized
The raid took place on December 6, 2022 but the Thunder Bay Police Service’s investigation into drug trafficking had been ongoing for some time prior. As a matter of fact, the nature of the arrest points to the motel being the focus of the investigation as it was found that the four were only in Thunder Bay for trafficking purposes.
Along with the drugs, police seized a fake driver’s license, drug paraphernalia, and cash. The four were identified as Denzil Domfeh (28), Shomari Dover (22) of Toronto, Maxwell resident Shaddai Meshack Wilson (22), and Ricardo Raffington (40) of Whitby.
All four are looking at two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. Domfeh was given an additional charge for failure to comply with a release order and Wilson was charged with possession of an identity document.
The four traffickers are still in custody. Authorities state that the drugs were worth more than $280,000 on the street.
