After failing to get the win at NXT Deadline, JD McDonagh is looking for his next big move in WWE NXT. Already having an issue with The Creed Brothers after putting seeds of doubt in the backstage trainers in regards to the condition of Julius Creed, and costing them a PPV payday in the process – McDonagh has now pushed these issues further. Tonight, he goes one on one with Julius Creed – and looks to actually put Julius on the shelf this time.

Julius Creed Defeats JD McDonagh, Indus Sher Set Date For Long Awaited Tag Team Match

McDonagh would shove Creed around to try and get in his head, only to end up in a headlock. He’d shove Creed off, only to be dropped with a hip toss before ending up in another side headlock. McDonagh was able to wrestle his way free, getting control of the wrist to take Creed down to the mat.

Creed would use his agility to get free, before being thrown from the ring. A PK off the apron would be blocked, with McDonagh instead being thrown onto the announce table. He’d use the ring post to regain the advantage, first running Creed into the post, and then yanking him face first into the post.

Back in the ring, McDonagh would keep the pressure on with a backdrop, before trading strikes with Creed. He’d once again take Creed to the mat, and went after the arm once again. Creed would get the single leg takedown, but was unable to take control of the match.

A hip toss took him back down to the mat, where he’d apply the Short Arm Scissors – which Creed was able to power out of with a slam. McDonagh would dive into the arms of Creed, before taking a quick Roderick Strong style backbreaker. Creed would block an attempt at the Devil-Inside Suplex with a jumping knee, but fell to a Spanish Fly in the middle of the ring.

McDonagh was thrown with a German Suplex, only to come back with an Enziguri and a brainbuster for a two count. Creed would look for a superplex, but was dropped with a headbutt. McDonagh missed his dive, and took the spinebuster and sliding lariat to end this match. After the match, Indus Sher would call out The Creed Brothers for a tag team match at New Years Evil.

Wendy Choo Claims Win In Grudge Match

Wendy Choo got some vivid flashbacks to being bullied as a teenager when she last dealt with NXT’s resident mean girl Cora Jade. This has served to really fire Choo up, and after missing her chance to be in the Iron Survivor Challenge, Choo is ready to take revenge on Jade. They clash tonight in a grudge match, and things might get violent.

Choo wasted no time hitting the ring, throwing Jade with a Northern Lights Suplex. Jade would try to flee the ring, but Choo would look to keep the pressure on. Choo would avoid a Kendo Stick shot from Jade on the floor, before getting a two count off a roll up in the ring. Jade would be able to hit an elbow drop, getting a two count before applying an arm lock.

A rising knee strike in the corner from Jade would be blocked into a Liger Bomb for a two count. Another Northern Lights Suplex would be followed by a flying crossbody, getting Choo another near fall. Jade would look for a Double Arm DDT, only to be thrown into the corner and dropped with a Full Nelson Slam into a Vader Bomb for the win.

Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
