Earlier this year, the National Wrestling Alliance would take a step back from their paid subscription for NWA Powerrr, once again offering the show for free on YouTube. This was what got them major attention back in 2019, and could well help them regain some of their lost fans in 2023 – as it will allow their top talents to truly shine. One name who has often been cited as one of the best in the company is the reigning NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille – but if WWE comes knocking, she’s not sticking around with the NWA.
Kamille Would Love A Chance To End Up In WWE
While speaking on the Insiders Edge, Kamille would be asked if she has aspirations of working with WWE in her career. Kamille had the following to say in response.
“Yeah, I think anybody that says no to that would be lying. Truthfully, WWE is, like you said, the Yankees. They’re the top of the top, and so I think that anybody who takes their wrestling career seriously, they wanna end up — even if it’s just for five years or something like that, just for the amount of time to prove that you’ve ‘made it’ and that all the work you’ve put in, all the hours of driving, all of the grind that no one sees has finally paid off. So, yeah, I would love to have that opportunity at some point.”
Even Billy Corgan Knows WWE Is On Another Level From WWE
Kamille would go on to say that even Billy Corgan understands that the NWA is not nealy as big as the WWE, with the two companies on different levels in 2023.
“Even Billy, my boss, understands as well. NWA, although I freaking love working there, and I love all of my co-workers, the office, it’s great — we aren’t on that level yet, that’s a fact. So, although I want to be there to help the company grow and get as big as possible, I still would love to have the opportunity one day to work for WWE and show people on a larger scale what I’m made of, what I can do.”
