In South Bend, Indiana a wanted man was taken in by the U.S Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Indiana State Police on January 24, 2023. James Allen (32) was wanted on several outstanding arrest warrants.
U.S Marshals and Indiana State Police Arrest Wanted Man Who Had Multiple Outstanding Arrest Warrants
Authorities found Allen in a parked truck behind a house on Medora Street and arrested him at 2:30 PM. It was reported that the arrest went off without incident. A check of his person turned up a loaded handgun in his pants. His vehicle was searched and authorities found a rifle, a revolver, marijuana, heroin, cocaine, meth, and drug paraphernalia.
On top of his existing charges, James Allen was booked into the St. Joseph County Jail. He was charged with dealing meth, dealing cocaine or a narcotic drug, possession of cocaine, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
Reports of the arrest don’t include the crimes or other jurisdictions of his outstanding arrest warrants. Since the U.S Marshals had to step in and he has proven himself to be a flight risk, no bond was given to Allen.
