Last month, Alyssa Milano posted a tweet inquiring if anyone would check up on Britney Spears, and the star recently responded on her Instagram claiming the message was a form of bullying.
Britney Spears SLAMS Alyssa Milano For Persecuting Her-‘It Saddens Me, Feels Like A Form Of Bullying’
This was amid a welfare check from the police that had been requested by some of the singer’s worried fans. While that may have been the case, the authorities confirmed that Britney was in a good place.
This is despite the fact that Britney was annoyed by it and had told her fans she wanted privacy. And now she wants to set the record straight on those who have been making assumptions about her.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Britney shared a screenshot of Alyssa’s tweet. The post was captioned by the following comments: “It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me.
“This definitely feels like a form of bullying. Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down.”
Nevertheless, Alyssa could be forgiven for thinking something was wrong. Britney had been accused of having an episode at an LA restaurant where she covered her face with a menu after being annoyed that someone was filming her.
That was not in and of itself enough to get worried, but the fact that Sam Asghari allegedly left the restaurant a short while before this happened raised concerns. The fans on social media, however, defended Alyssa.
A certain subset of people were of the view that Britney’s own conduct made it more plausible for people to suggest that something was wrong.
One person wrote: “I don’t like Alyssa Milano at all, but in this case she wasn’t saying anything that others weren’t thinking.
“Britney isn’t O.K and going around calling people bullies for questioning her erratic behaviour just makes her look even more unhinged.”
