The Colombian star Shakira recently started building a wall between her house and the house of her ex-in-laws. Shakira, who divorced from Gerard Pique in the summer of 2022, reportedly has had enough of his parents and blocks them by building a wall between her house and theirs.
Shakira had a plan of moving to Miami and taking her kids with her. However, she had a sudden change of plans as she faced some roadblocks and now stays in Barcelona, ironically next to Gerard Pique’s parents. Her move to Miami is postponed because of her dad’s health issues. The legal issues with the kids between her and Gerard Pique are settled. In 2022 Shakira signed an agreement with him, allowing her to move to the United States with her two kids.
Shakira Literally Builds A Wall Between Her House And Gerard Pique’s Parents
Reportedly, Shakira’s already enrolled her children in a school in Miami. However, the turn of events is such that most probably they will need to continue studying in Spain.
Ever since the divorce, there is some bad blood between both parties. Allegedly Shakira cannot stand Gerard Pique’s parents and they don’t want to see her. To make it easier for everybody, Shakira decided to build a wall to part with them. The houses are completely separate. However, the neighboring yards without a fence make it look like they are in one big yard.
According to reports, a cement mixer worked in Shakira’s yard. Reportedly, she is building a wall to make the houses more separate and independent.
Now, months after the finalization of their divorce, Shakira thinks that living to Gerard Pique’s parents is more of an issue than before. Furthermore, she recently released a new hit song, BZRP Music Sessions #53 with Argentine rapper Bizarrap. In the song, the Colombian star is criticizing Gerard Pique.
“I am worth two 22-year-olds, you traded a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded a Rolex for a Casio.” – the lyrics of the song say.
Funny enough, Gerard Pique now wears a Casio watch and drives a Twingo. Shakira also reportedly played the song very loudly inside her house. So loud that her in-laws next door could hear it.
Shakira has had several conflicts with Gerard Pique’s mother as well. One of them happened last week. Allegedly, Shakira placed a black mannequin in a witch’s clothes on the terrace of her house. The mannequin faced her in-laws’ house. According to newsletters, Gerard Pique’s mother took offense at this and asked Shakira to remove the mannequin.
