‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things trucking along with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
It looks like there are some interesting developments in Genoa City, with one being enough to encourage Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to run to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to fill her in.
On a related note, Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will share her secret with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) again, but maybe this time she’ll be able to convince him she’s not insane?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, May 3: Interesting turn
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are trying not to get too excited about Jack’s news since it could be anything from Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) agreeing to use his contacts to help them or that they found something.
We’re going to take a walk on the impatient side and go with they found something in the security footage.
While it may not show Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) as they recognize her, they may show her in the costume that relied on people being blind not to recognize her, but more likely dressed in black as she removed Jeremy Stark (James Hyde)’s body from her room.
At the very least, this gives them a third person to link to Stark and Phyllis and could be the key to getting Diane out of jail.
Of course, we doubt it’ll be the simple as the evidence has to be allowed in first, but we’re sure Michael will be able to find a way around that.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, May 3: Summer buckles
Summer’s been going through an emotional wringer since Phyllis faked her death and then returned to tell Summer.
The weight of the secret and what to do have been making her life worse with each day, so she’s going to share it with Daniel.
We’re curious how this will play out since she tried to tell him she saw and talked to Phyllis before and he thought she was imagining it.
They even discussed hypotheticals on how to help her return to Genoa City, so this should be interesting to see play out.
But the worst part about this is Summer doesn’t feel like she can talk to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about it, and that makes sense since he’d insist on telling the police to get Diane out of jail.
Right now, Summer’s still dealing with all of the emotional turmoil Phyllis has put her through and she’s still siding with Phyllis in blaming Diane for Phyllis going off the deep end.
Summer’s not the only one, and that just goes to show how deeply trouble many in the city are, but for people to start healing and getting the help they need Summer needs to open up and share her secret.
When this is all over, we hope they let Phyllis have it for manipulating her daughter and son into this situation. There shouldn’t be any coming back from this
