Earlier in the show, we would hear from MJF – who despite his arrogant persona, knows how much All In means to his career.
He gets to enter the main event of perhaps the biggest show in professional wrestling history, and do it with a man he truly considers to be a friend.
Adam Cole likewise knows how big this moment is, as he thought his career was done in 2022 when he suffered a major concussion. Now, he’s entering a monumental match – and had a chance to sit down with Renee Paquette.
Adam Cole Feels AEW Fans Just Can’t Recognize Friendship
A video package would show the steps they took as becoming friends, and Cole would explain that when he returned to the ring – he lacked confidence.
MJF would help revive that confidence, reminding Cole who he is. However, while he owes a lot to MJF – Cole feels he needs to win this match.
Winning a match of this scale would only solidify the legendary status of Cole, adding to his 3x ROH World Championship and dominance in WWE NXT. Renee would bring up the footage of Cole saying he knows MJF is a snake, and when he considered attacking MJF along the way.
Cole would go off, saying that fans seemingly have issues recognizing a friendship. He would storm off, a nerve clearly having been struck.
All Out Chaos In A Tornado Tag Team Match
Strickland & AR Fox gave him a few weeks back. Teaming up with Darby Allin, Wayne will meet Swerve & Fox in tag team action tonight. Nick Wayne will finally have a chance at revenge tonight, for the brutal beatdown that Swerve & Fox put on him.
Allin meanwhile is just preparing for his match against Swerve & Fox in London, where he will face them in a tag team coffin match with Sting by his side.
Any damage tonight will help Allin, but the same goes for Swerve & Fox. Adding to the chaos – AEW made this a Tornado Rules match.
Swerve & Allin would separate off on the floor as the match began, while Fox would hit a Split Legged Avalanche German Suplex in the ring on Wayne.
Fox was wearing the tank top stained in the blood of Wayne from the beatdown, and would take it off to throw it at the mother of Wayne.
Taking control, Allin & Wayne would use their speed to set up a big Coffin Drop, before the Double Wayne’s World. Fox would take Allin down with a wild elbow strike, before this match spilled out into the crowd.
Swerve would focus on Wayne, while Fox stomped on Allin. Fox would drop Wayne with a jumping kick, before Allin drove him down and hit the Coffin Splash on Swerve.
Getting back to the ring, all four men would try to keep the fight going – but Fox & Swerve would send Allin to the floor before a Razors Edge Neckbreaker crushed Wayne.
Allin was just able to make the save, before sending Swerve to the floor and launching himself onto him with a massive dive.
AR Fox Is Out Of Mogul Embassy – Christian Cage Is All In
Fox would attack Allin from behind and set him up on a chair, before Swerve came off the apron with the Swerve Stomp.
Wayne would try to stand and fight, but took a Corkscrew Brainbuster from Fox. Allin was able to make the save, before Wayne slipped in and scored the pinfall with a sly roll up Fox for the victory.
After the match, Swerve would call out Fox for being weak – and Prince Nana would fire him from the Mogul Embassy. Brian Cage would run him down, and hit the Drill Claw.
Making the save was Nick Wayne, Darby Allin & Sting – Allin having enough respect with Fox to help him out despite his recent actions.
Allin would ask who will replace Fox in the Coffin Match at Wembley, and out comes Christian Cage & Luchasaurus. Cage has been watching Wayne closely, and knows his story.
He’s an expert at dealing with people with dead fathers, and if Wayne plays his cards right – maybe Cage will mentor him when all is done.
