Brody King joining AEW has instantly made The House of Black one of the most deadly groups in AEW. Together with Malakai Black, they form the Kings of The Black Throne. HOwever, PAC & Penta El Zero Meido do not fear them. PAC was all but blinded by the attacks of Malakai, but this had him seeing more clearly than ever before. Tonight, he gets his chance at revenge – as they clash in tag team action.
First, Brandi Rhodes Needs TV Time
First, Brandi Rhodes hit the ring tonight with something to say. However, she was quickly interrupted by Dan Lambert. With Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page at his back, Lambert would insult the CBO role of Rhodes. She can pretend she’s important to AEW all she wants – but his big issue is with Cody Rhodes.
Ethan Page was laughing at the comments from Lambert about Rhodes, but was shut down by Rhodes saying they only signed him to get closer to signing Josh Alexander. Rhodes tried to start up a counter promo but had issues getting over the crowd shutting her down. She tried to insult the American Top Team, saying that they’ve been dropping fights while Lambert is in AEW.
Rhodes would slap Lambert, and Lambert knew she was in a fighting mood – and brought bare knuckle fighter Paige VanZant to deal with Brandi Rhodes. The AEW locker room came to stop this fight, and we might see more of this down the line. Rhodes is on an eight match win streak, so it’s time for a big win.
Kings Of The Black Throne Inspire Awe With Their Entrance Alone
The mood quickly changed as the Kings of The Black Throne hit the ring to get this show back on track. They won their AEW debut two weeks ago, and Black has a 8-1 singles record in AEW – but PAC & Penta are built of harder stock than Varsity Blonds. PAC still had his eyes covered after the black mist attacks, but started the match alongside Black.
Black didn’t know what to make of the situation, but PAC dodged the punch with ease. Thrown off the ropes, PAC slid through the legs. Into the corner, he flipped out with ease. A quick dropkick sent Black to the outside, and PAC revealed the thin cloth was just for show. King was sent to the outside, and Penta hit dives in tandem with Penta to the floor.
In the ring, PAC held Black open for a missile dropkick to the tailbone, which Penta hit with ease. Penta & PAC would get some quick tags, before a massive shot from King dropped PAC from behind. Legally entering the match, PAC would feel more of the heavy handed strikes of Brody King. He’s not just big – he knows how to use the size, showing so with a scoop slam into the running senton.

PAC & Penta Waited For This Revenge
Black would slip back into the match to hit a sliding dropkick on PAC, before slowing down the pace with an armbar. PAC would be able to break free of Black to tag in Penta, who cleaned house with some sling blades, before launching off Black to hit a DDT on King. Black came back with the heavy strikes, before taking a backstabber.
PAC would re-enter the match off a blind tag, only to take a knee strike to the jaw. Black would cut PAC down to the mat, and a sliding knee strike got the two count. A second knee strike landed, but PAC stayed in the fight. PAC nailed a sheer drop brainbuster, getting a two count before King broke the pinfall up.
Penta & King traded heavy blows, before King was sent to the outside and nailed with a plancha. PAC nailed the superkick on Black, before setting up the Fear Factor with Penta. King would instead shove PAC off the top rope. Black Mist to the face of Penta, and Dante’s Inferno from The Kings Of The Black Throne – and this was over.
