Ashton Kutcher says he supports his wife, Mila Kunis’ native country, Ukraine. The actor, whose wife is said to have grown up in Soviet Ukraine has released a statement about the recent happenings in Ukraine during the Russian invasion. Ashton, The 44-year-old Iowa native has tweeted, “I stand with Ukraine”, on Thursday, February 24 2022. Mila Kunis was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine at the time when Ukraine was still a member of the Soviet Union which later became Russia.

In September 2011, the star actress, speaking to The Daily Telegraph, said, “My parents both had amazing jobs, and I was very lucky. We were not poor when we lived in Russia, whereas most people were very unfortunate.” She also spoke of her sheltered life under the Soviet Union regime.

Kunis and her family later immigrated to the United States when she was seven years old. Furthermore, Ashton Kutcher is one of the leading celebrities who is tweeting their support for Ukraine following Russia’s attack on the country at the order of Vladimir Putin who is the president of Russia. And although Ashton’s wife doesn’t use social media, she hasn’t commented on the current situation, but over the years, she has spoken about her time in the country.
Mila and Ashton first met on the set of “That ‘70s show” in 1998. In 2011, Ashton split from wife Demi Moore, while Mila broke up with Macular Cullin, her boyfriend. And since then the former co-stars reconnected. She and Kutcher share two children, 7 year old daughter Wyatt and 5 year old son Dimitri. Mila Kunis has stuck to business even as Russian troops attacked Ukraine, her birth country.
The 38-year old actress was spotted taking a break from work as she went for a walk in West Hollywood near her office. She rocked a baggy navy sweatshirt and matching sweatpants as she got in some steps with some of her office staff. Fans have gone ahead to voice their opinion about the conflict going on between Russia and Ukraine.
