The star has been through a lot of late. She has had to watch her husband Alec Baldwin get caught up in the ‘Rust’ scandal after his prop gun incident on the set led to the death of Halyna Hutchins.
While investigation is still ongoing in order to determine whether or not Alec is going to be liable, this news is bound to provide the family with something positive to focus on.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Hilaria shared a video of herself being hugged by her other kids, as Alec sat in the background.
The post captioned by the following comments: “After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall.
“We were pretty sure our family was complete, and we’re beyond happy with this surprise.” These comments are very significant for the following reasons.
First of all, there is the implication that the couple did not plan on having another baby. After all, Hilaria did refer to it as a ‘surprise,’ and their recent troubles would also suggest that a child was not the first priority, as Hilaria is hardly getting any younger.
Secondly, this news arrives on the back end of Hilaria’s recent break from social media which suggest that a pregnancy may have been in the offing for a while. Otherwise, the break from social media could have just been a coincidence.
The response on social media was far from enthusiastic. People felt that the couple had too many children and needed to stop. One person wrote: “You have got to be kidding… 7?!?!
“Alec, enough already…get snipped or pull out or something?!?” while another stated: “OMG. They need to stop already.”
