‘Game of Thrones’ actor Joseph Gatt was reportedly arrested on the grounds of communicating in a sexual manner online with a minor.

According to reports, The Los Angeles Police Department had decided to use a search warrant to look inside Joseph’s home.
He was then arrested on the basis that he had been engaged in ‘online sexually explicit communication with a minor across state lines.’
Although the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) are investigating this, the actor has since then been released on a bail of $5,000.
Despite what has been claimed, Joseph denied doing anything of the sort. And he let his fans know in no uncertain terms that he was innocent.
In a post to his fans on Twitter, he said: “They [allegations] are 100% categorically wrong and reckless. I have confirmed errors and misleading information in today’s press release.
“I am fully cooperating with police and LAPD to get to the bottom of this. I look forward to clearing my good name.”
It is still too early to tell what is going to happen to Joseph, given that the investigation will have to run its course. But in the meantime, it has had a negative impact on him for the following reasons.
First of all, the actor’s movie ‘Titanic 666,’ has been released in cinemas this month. Therefore, these claims are hardly going to aid the promotion of the movie.
Secondly, if it does transpire that these allegations are true, then there is a realistic possibility that the actor could end up being canceled. After all, people have had careers ended for much less.
The response on social media was understandably hostile. People simply wanted to see those that were responsible for such actions being held to account. One person wrote: “Burn these f***king creeps at the stake.”
