Amber Heard has claimed that she still loves her ex-husband, Johnny Depp. This is coming two weeks after he won his bombshell defamation trial against her.
Amber Heard Says She Loved Johnny Depp “With All My Heart”
On Wednesday, June 15, 2022 Amber told Savannah Guthrie, “Absolutely. I love him. I loved him with all my heart,” in Part 2 of her exclusive interview for NBC News. “I have no bad feelings or ill will toward him at all.” “I know that might be hard to understand, or it might be really easy to understand. If you’ve just ever loved anyone, it should be easy.”
Amber is admitting this after a Virginia jury awarded Depp $10.35 million in damages, after finding that she had defamed him by writing a 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she identified herself as a victim of domestic abuse. The jury found for the Aquaman actress as to a single claim in her countersuit, and she was awarded $2 million

“I’m scared no matter what I do, no matter what I say or how I say it, every step I take will present another opportunity for this sort of silencing, which is what a defamation lawsuit is meant to do, to take your voice,” she said. Guthrie went on to ask her about a text that Johnny sent after they broke up in 2016 promising her “total global humiliation.” Guthrie asked her “Do you feel like that came true?” and she bowed her head and exhaled deeply, saying “It feels as though he has.”
Guthrie also asked her about the most obvious inconsistencies in her testimony in a trial that turned on the credibility of the opponents. Amber had shared during a Dutch television show that she had donated the entirety of her $7 million divorce settlement to charity – which was a lie. “I made a pledge, that pledge is made over time by its nature,” she said, digging her heels in.
Amber also denied that she or her team shared with TMZ that she would file a restraining order in a Los Angeles courthouse in May 2016 after she alleged that her ex-husband hit her in the face with a cellphone. An ex TMZ producer testified that he sent a photographer to the courthouse, was told the side of her face that Amber had a bruise on it. He also claimed that she would stop momentarily for the photographer to take a picture. Amber Heard made no comments about reports that her role as Mera was cut from “Aquaman 2.” However, her spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the report is flase and “slightly insane.”
