Ricky Martin has denied the allegation of domestic violence made against him.
Ricky Martin Denies Domestic Violence Claims-‘Martin Will Be Fully Vindicated’
According to reports, the singer had been given a restraining order that was filed by one of his exes. It is not exactly clear who requested the order, but the claims do appear to be quite worrying if they are to be true.
It is suggested that Martin had broken up with the other party around 2 months ago, but this was something that Ricky had apparently not been able to accept.
That is why the order stressed that the singer had been approaching their house on at least three occasions in the aftermath. As a result, the order has reportedly prevented Martin from contacting the other party even via the phone.
It is also alleged that the authorities had attempted to find Martin, so that they could serve the protective order on him. But it is claimed that the authorities were not able to track down the singer.
That is why Ricky has come out to deny doing any wrongdoing, and he wanted to let the fans know in no uncertain terms that he would prove his innocence.
In an official statement given on behalf of the singer, a representative said: “The allegations against Ricky Martin that led to a protection order are completely false and fabricated.
“We are very confident that when the true facts come out in this matter our client Ricky Martin will be fully vindicated.” The response on social media was mixed.
A certain subset of people were of the view that it was too early to tell whether or not Ricky had anything to answer for. With that being said, they were not too quick to judge him. One person wrote: “Innocent until proven guilty.”
The only thing left to do is let the authorities investigate the matter and come to a reasonable conclusion. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
