AEW Revolution pre-show kicking off here! As Taz and Excalibur run down the card, the crowd seems to have a ton of led lights to hold up. Goes pretty nicely with the futuristic setting going on. Tony Schiavone is backstage with SCU and the echo is mighty. Daniels says for the past few months the Dark Order has been giving half-truths to the wrestlers and lies to the fans. Well tonight he’ll make sure SCU ends the Dark Order once and for all! Scorpio isn’t so sure. Says him and Frankie have been talking and think it might be for the best if he stay in the back tonight. Audible boos. Daniels protests, they say it’s in his best interest. Begrudgingly he agrees. Now it’s time for our Buy-In match!
Evil Uno and Stu Grayson come out, as expected with Alex Reynolds, John Silver and two other Creepers by their side. And SCU indeed come out without the Ring General backing them up. Scorpio and Frankie rush the ring and take out the Dark Order’s minions before going after Uno and Grayson themselves! The brawl spills to the outside!
SCU (Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky) vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson)
Grayson and Kazarian fight back into the ring where the bell rings, Kazarian gets Stu down with a combo of kicks! Ducks a lariat, standing switch, Scorpio tags in, kicks to the face of Grayson who gets sent flying with a German by Frankie, Scorpio with a running dropkick takes Uno to the floor! Crowd behind Scorpio. Frankie tags back in, body slam. “SCU” chant as he hits a Springboard Legdrop for 2! Stu double legs Frankie to the heel corner, Uno tags in and they try a double team, Frankie fights out of it, deposits Grayson. Back body drop takes Uno to the apron, Leaping Legdrop to the back of the head!
Kazarian wants a Springing Headscissor, Grayson blocks it! Puts him on his feet, Uno tosses Kazarian into the post and he nails it hard! Stu distracts the ref, Kazarian gets stomped into the floor by the minions to big heat! Frankie thrown back into the ring, double team big boot for a nearfall! Uno poses on the middle rope for boos as Grayson keeps pounding. In the Dark Order corner, back rake. “Spooky Perverts” chant and Uno isn’t happy. Isolation continues, meaty chop from Grayson. Stu gets him in a side headlock, Kazarian fights to his feet, elbows to the gut. Grayson stops him with a clothesline for 2. Covers again for another 2.
Pulls him up to his feet and gets him in the corner, Uno tags in and chops him. Tag right back out, Frankie throwing punches to both side, wants to rush to the corner but they catch him. Kazarian evades charges, combat rolls over Uno, ducks a Grayson clothesline, tag to Scorpio Sky! House of fire, flying back elbow to Uno, Manhattan Drop to Grayson for a Standing Dropkick! Crowd coming alive for Scorpio! Sunset flip on Uno for 2. Spin kick to the face! Snapmare, dropkick to the back of the head for a nearfall! Tag to Kazarian, Scorpio tricks him out with a leapfrog, Frankie with a Snap DDT for a nearfall!
Scorpio tags back in, tries for a back suplex, Grayson avoids it, ducks a shot, Pele Kick takes out both of SCU! Tag to Evil Uno. Running kick to the face of Scorpio, whips him into a jumping knee strike, Overhead Belly To Belly sends Scorpio into Kazarian! Uno covers for a nearfall! Tag to Grayson, Uno throws Scorpio to Grayson, who throws him back for a Powerbomb out of the air, nearfall! Great maneuver. “SCU” chant! Uno back in, they want Fatality but Scorpio escapes it. Monkey Flips Kazarian into a double clothesline for a huge pop! Looking for SCU Later now but Uno drags Scorpio out of the ring, some of the Followers attack Frankie as the ref is distracted, Scorpio back in but gets blindsided with an elbow to the back of the head from Grayson!
Winner: The Dark Order
The Dark Order swarms in… until Colt Cabana’s theme plays! He makes the save, big Chicago pop! “Colt Cabana” chant, Colt takes to Grayson with elbows! But the numbers catch up with him, there’s just so many Dark Order members. Deafening “Colt Cabana” chant even as he’s being overwhelmed. He fights back as hard as he can. The Dark Order ceases their attack… and out comes a hooded figure! Sends the hood flying and it’s Christopher Daniels! He launches himself into the ring to attack the Dark Order! Colt Cabana and SCU fend off the Dark Order!
