An altercation during a recent NXT Live event saw Indi Hartwell blow up at Roxanne Perez – as she was on TikTok instead of watching her match. Hartwell feels like as the veteran name of the NXT women’s division, rookies like Perez owe her respect. Tonight, they meet one on one in the ring – and Hartwell has a chance to earn that respect.

A Matter Of Respect Between Indi Hartwell & Roxanne Perez

Perez would offer a handshake as this match began, with Hartwell slapping it aside before locking on a wristlock. Hartwell would lose control of Perez, and was taken down with a flying headscissor. Perez would head to the top rope, but Hartwell took her off and onto her shoulders for an airplane spin before throwing her face first into the corner.

Hartwell would end up in a sleeper hold, but was able to sling Perez off onto the mat. Perez would get a roll up for a two count before catching Hartwell with a dropkick. Sleeper hold would be applied once again – before Hartwell placed Perez on the ropes and shoved her down to the floor.

Hartwell would have been fine with a count out victory, but Perez would hit the ring at the count of nine – walking right into a scoop slam and elbow drop. Perez would take another scoop slam, before some clubbing blows to the back. Hartwell would block a roll up attempt into a pinfall of her own, before taking a jawbreaker and coming back hard with a lariat.

A Massive Win For Perez Ahead Of NXT Deadline

A sidewalk slam would get another near fall for Hartwell, before moving into the rear chinlock. Perez would fight to her feet, only to have her face slung down into the mat. Hartwell would hit a stiff right hand, prompting Perez to hit some strikes of her own. Perez would get an armdrag to create separation, before a flying elbow smash.

Hartwell was sent face first into the corner, before a dropkick to the ribs. In the corner, Hartwell caught a back elbow smash into a back suplex for a two count. Perez would send Hartwell to the floor and hit a suicide dive – before the crossbody in the ring would see Hartwell counter into a scoop slam attempt before being rolled up for two.

Hartwell would respond with a big boot to the face, before a kick to the mid-section. Pop Rocks would follow, and Perez claimed a big victory. With the names for the Iron Survivor Challenge to be named tonight – Roxanne Perez is in good standing after tonight.

    Feast Your Eyes On Dijak

Wes Lee fought like hell last week, defeating Carmelo Hayes to retain the NXT North American Championship. However – his night went from great to horrible real fast, as Dijak would make his return to NXT. The powerhouse quickly chokeslammed Lee, and made it clear he was not waiting to go for gold in NXT. Tonight, we will see what Dijak is capable of once again, as he is set for his first singles match in NXT in years.

Dante Chen would stare down his biggest challenge to date, showing no fear. Dijak would quickly hit a clubbing blow to the chest of Chen, before grabbing the chokeslam. Chen would try his best to fight his way free, before being driven hard out of the ring and to the floor.

Back in the ring, the Hard Justice Chokeslam would land, and Dijak was not done. Clubbing blows to the face was followed by more to the back of the neck. In the corner, more elbow strikes would follow, with Chen having his arm hammerlocked as his neck was abused. Chen would slip free and hit some stiff strikes of his own, before a running boot to the face.

Dijak would rise and hit a boot of his own, being a KO blow on it’s own Hammerlock Choke would set up Feast Your Eyes – and this match was over. The NXT roster has been put on notice, and now know what Hard Justice means. Unrelenting annihilation. The only thing Dijak wants to bring to NXT is suffering, as he didn’t come back to reinvent himself – he came back to destroy people like Chen or Wes Lee.

Will Dijak be the next NXT North American Champion? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
