On Wednesday, January 25, the Ventura Co. Sheriff’s Office received panicked 911 phone calls from concerned fans of Britney Spears.
According to TMZ, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office explained that fans grew worried when the singing sensation suddenly deleted her Instagram account. The panicked fans begged the Ventura Co. Sheriff’s Office to conduct a wellness check on the Princess of Pop to ensure her well-being. The spokesman added that authorities went to Britney Spears’ home to check on her out of an abundance of caution.

Britney is known for her truly bizarre behavior on social media, including posting and quickly deleting content, changing her display name, and going on chaotic rants in captions. Additionally, many fans question if the singing sensation is even still alive, with some speculating there are doubles standing in as replacements for her in public.
Some even go as far as to claim that her husband Sam manages her social media accounts. However, it’s important to note that this isn’t the first time Britney has deleted her Instagram account. In fact, she’s done it before, but this time, it seemed to have struck a nerve with fans.
The recent bizarre behavior caught on film at a restaurant, led some fans to believe she was having a manic episode, especially with her husband storming out of the restaurant. This incident which was previously reported by Tv Shows Ace further sparked rumors that all is not well with Britney Spears.
Her husband, Sam, later explained that he had just left to get the car because Britney was overwhelmed with the attention she was receiving from those who recognized her in the eating establishment.
