Shakira has slammed her ex-lover Gerard Pique’s girlfriend by stating that she is happy on her own.

According to reports, the 36-year-old ex-soccer player was unfaithful to his former partner with his new 23-year-old girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, as the couple recently announced their relationship on Instagram.
And given that the pair do have two children together, that only made things harder. However, since that moment, Shakira has come out fighting by hitting out at fellow women who fail to back each other up.
In her comments, she said: “There is a place in hell reserved for women who don’t support other women. I’ve always been emotionally quite dependent on men.
“I’ve fallen in love with love and I think I’ve been able to understand that story from another perspective, and today I am sufficient on my own.”
In June 2022, Shakira and Piqué made it public that they had ended their relationship with a joint announcement. Later, Shakira announced that she and her sons would be relocating to Miami after agreeing on a custody agreement.
And as part of that process, there were some question marks over her mindset since Shakira was facing claims that she could face prison time for tax fraud. But through all those struggles, it seems she has come out stronger.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “That strength comes out of experiencing a painful loss, of accepting it, of tolerating a frustration, of understanding that life doesn’t always bring us what we want.”
The social media response, however, was hardly sympathetic. This was on the basis that people felt her track record was hardly something to write home about, as shown by her tax issues.
