Saraya & The Outcasts have remained on top of their feud with the AEW Originals, and tonight – we see Saraya in action. Willow Nightingale is someone who has been deeply involved with the battles against The Outcasts, and a win tonight against their ringleader would be huge for her career.

She can’t rely on backup like Saraya can, but Jamie Hayter & Britt Baker are never too far when The Outcasts are around. Since arriving in AEW, Saraya has been undefeated in singles action, and is unlikely to give up that record until she gets her shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Saraya Uses The Number Edge Of The Outcasts To Defeat Willow Nightingale

Saraya would flee the ring as soon as the bell rang, yelling she’s not ready. Willow followed her, only for Storm & Soho to form a wall.

Saraya would get the high ground in the ring, and used it to start her attack on Willow. Willow was able to overpower Saraya, before coming off the middle rope with a shotgun dropkick – getting a two count.

Saraya would take chops and lariats in the corner from Willow, and Storm would be key in getting control back for Saraya – running a distraction. Willow would be sent to the floor as Saraya distracted the referee, allowing Soho & Storm to choke and stomp Willow.

Back in the ring, Willow would be hit with some clubbing forearms to the back – Saraya taking an aggressive approach to this match now that she’s in control.

Despite being in control, Saraya would again distract the referee and Soho would choke her former tag team partner in the corner.

Willow would land a massive spinebuster, getting a two count in the process. Saraya would hit the Nightcap – but only got a near fall herself.

Willow would fight off a DDT attempt, and hit the Running Death Valley Driver – with Storm & Soho fast to prevent a pinfall. Soho took a massive pounce, but this was about for Saraya to hit the Good Knight DDT for the win.

After the bell, it was Hikaru Shida to make the save – with Kendo Stick in hand… only to turn and instead join The Outcasts.

Shida would play the role of a new recruit as Hayter & Baker got into position – before beating down The Outcasts, a ruse done to perfection.

The Tres de Mayo Trios Battle Royale Kicks Off

House of Black have proven to be a tough match for anyone looking to claim the AEW World Trios Championships. They’ve taken down The Elite, Jericho Appreciation Society, and Best Friends – and tonight, are watching a Trios battle royale very closely.

Whoever claims the win will get the next title shot – and the talent pool for a match like this is deep. The Lucha Bros & El Hijo Del Vikingo, The Butcher and The Blade & Kip Sabian, The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn, The Dark Order, QTV, and The Varsity Athletes are all vying for a shot in the Tres de Mayo Trios Battle Royale.

It would be an all out brawl as this match began, with commentary stressing that all three members need to be eliminated to take the team out of the match.

Ari Daivari would be thrown out by Evil Uno, with Josh Woods of the Varsity Athletes nearly following. QT Marshall & Aaron Solo would take Evil Uno out. Lucha Bros set up the Fear Factor, but Josh Woods & Tony Nese prevented this.

Rey Fenix took Tony Nese out, and Vikingo took Woods out – Varsity Athletes out of the match. Alex Reynolds was eliminated, before Rey Fenix & Penta took out QT & Solo. Powerhouse Hobbs tanked a double superkick, before taking The Lucha Bros out of the match.

… And The Last Men Standing Are The Acclaimed

Vikingo would hit some swift kicks on Hobbs, before a crossbody saw him caught and thrown to the floor by Hobbs – taking another trio out. Hobbs would run down Gunn with a big boot, before The Acclaimed sent him from the ring, taking QTV out of this match.

John Silver was the final hope of Dark Order, with Butcher & The Blade eliminating Max Caster. Bowens took a big neckbreaker, as Sabian worked on Gunn.

Butcher & The Blade would scissor in the middle of the ring, and Silver would fight back. Silver hit the delayed vertical suplex on Blade, before a German Suplex on Butcher. Blade would throw Silver out – taking Dark Order out the match.

Bowens & Gunn would go after Butcher, Blade & Sabian – only for Bowens to take a dropkick and senton in the corner. Gunn took a stunner and lariat, but wouldn’t be eliminated.

Bowens would take Blade out of the match as Butcher & Sabian focused on Gunn. Sabian & Butcher nearly took Bowens out, but Gunn would make the save.

Double Fame Asser would follow – with Butcher & Sabian thrown out. The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn win – and could be ready to take on House Of Black.
