The main event of AEW All In has been confirmed – with MJF set to defend the AEW World Heavyweight Championship against his best friend, Adam Cole.

Their 30 minute time limit draw earlier in the year showed how evenly matched up they are. Being put together in the Blind Draw Eliminator Tag Team tournament would see them become fast friends – going on to win the tournament.

When MJF was pinned by FTR in the resulting championship match, he felt he let Cole down – only for them to become even stronger of friends. Tonight, we will hear from MJF & Cole – just a few weeks away from their massive title match.

MJF Gets Goaded Into Another Match For All In

Earlier in the show, Adam Cole would take MJF to a trampoline park as another team bonding activity. MJF would be less than impressed, until Dodgeball was mentioned.

Taking the chance to bully some children, MJF would take them all down with dodgeballs – and Cole would stop him. One kid would call them nerds for being grown men at a trampoline park, and Cole allowed one more throw from MJF.

MJF hit the ring alongside Cole, and announced his new thoughts on the midwest, which is not mid. Any footage with him saying otherwise is heavily edited.

Cole would say that at All In, he’s going to beat MJF for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. MJF would see the challenge, and tried to start up a promo battle – insulting Cole.

Cole would say that was not his intention, and instead would say that their match at Wembley would make history. Going All In on making history, Cole would pitch that this match would be even better if they go in as tag team champions.

There is the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships, currently held by Aussie Open. ROH means a ton to Cole, and those belts he’s never won. With MJF by his side, Cole wants to win the belts during Zero Hour – then walk into the main event of Wembley for their match.

While MJF was not stoked on wrestling twice in the same night, but for Cole – he’s willing to do it. MJF would make the formal challenge for Aussie Open, because their Better Than You, BayBay.

Roderick Strong would try to object, but was shut down from talking to Cole by MJF. Cole got a bit fired up, but would hug it out with MJF before heading to the back.

Lucha Bros Try To Get The Jump On The BCC

Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli might have just gotten done battling the Best Friends in a brutal parking lot brawl, but there is no time to rest for the Blackpool Combat Club.

Tonight, after the Lucha Bros got involved in that brawl, the former ROH World Tag Team Champions will look to defeat Moxley & Castagnoli in tag team action tonight.

While Moxley & Castagnoli aren’t a defined tag team – they are longtime friends and have incredible chemistry, just possibly not enough to beat a set of brothers who are known for tag team dominance.

Lucha Bros would sneak up on Moxley & Castagnoli as the match began, hitting superkicks to send them to the floor. Dives over the top rope would follow, before Castagnoli took a cutter and diving double stomp in the ring. Castagnoli would take the Made In Japan in the middle of the ring from Penta, but was able to kick out.

Moxley was already bleeding, and Castagnoli would get the get the tag before working to hit a double DDT on the Lucha Bros.

Wheeler Yuta would use the ROH World Championship to smash Fenix in the face before Castagnoli would toss Fenix into a cutter – somehow not ending the match. Fenix would be groggy as Castagnoli put him in an armlock – kicking his way free only for Moxley to drop him with a suplex.

An STF would be applied by Moxley, forcing Fenix to crawl to the ropes. Castagnoli would quickly get the tag and apply another submission, keeping Fenix grounded before a short arm lariat. Hart Attack would follow – but Fenix was able to kick out.

All Out Violence Even After The Bell

Moxley tried to apply a Texas Cloverleaf, but Fenix again fought free only for a Spike Piledriver from the BCC would get a near fall.

Doomsday Device was planned next, but Fenix would avoid the lariat before a Victory Roll would set up a double stomp. Penta would get the tag and took the fight to the BCC – hitting a DDT on Moxley and Backstabber on Castagnoli.

Fenix would be tagged back into the match, but missed the Frog Splash – and took a huge uppercut, as Penta took a cutter from Moxley.

Popping up to his feet, Fenix would hit a perfect superkick on Moxley – and all four men were down. Fenix & Castagnoli would trade strikes on the mat, with Mox & Penta getting tags and going chop for chop in the middle of the ring.

Lucha Bros would set up a Spike Piledriver on Moxley, before Fear Factor was set. Wheeler Yuta would stop the finisher, before Alex Aberhantes got involved.

Fenix would hit a moonsault on Yuta, allowing Castagnoli to unmask Penta before Moxley rolled him up for the win. After the bell, the attack continued – sending a message to anyone who messes with the BCC.
