Last week, Mercedes Martinez had a chance to win the TBS Championship, but fell short when Kris Statlander claimed the victory to retain.
After the bell, she would get some aid from Diamante in a beatdown on Statlander, only for Willow Nightingale. Tonight, Statlander & Nightingale will face Martinez & Diamante in what promises to be a heated tag team encounter.
Bullet Club Gold Takes Aim At The Elite – The Gunns To Face The Young Bucks
Before this match, we’d hear from Bullet Club Gold. They would take aim at The Elite – because Jay White doesn’t agree with The Young Bucks calling themselves the best brother tag team in the world.
White would also say that they are the most Elite version of Bullet Club ever. The Gunns are returning to Dynamite, and are going to face The Young Bucks. They would say to not bring superkicks to a gunfight before signing off.
Considering the past of The Elite with Bullet Club, with Jay White being the man to kick Kenny Omega out of Bullet Club – this is an interesting situation with All In looming.
Omega & White currently don’t have matches on the biggest event in AEW history, and with two weeks to go – there is not much time to put together feuds.
Another chance is Hangman Page vs. Jay White – should AEW have other plans for Omega at All In. Regardless, The Gunns vs. The Young Bucks is a big match for the former AEW World Tag Team Champions – and could help them be taken more seriously in the tag team division.
Diamante & Mercedes Martinez Bend The Rules To Score A Big Win
Diamante would kick things off with Statlander, sending her into the corner with a headscissor. Statlander tried to hit a powerslam, but was tossed with an arm drag – only for Diamante to take a scoop slam and running senton from Nightingale. Martinez would get the tag and showcase her power, throwing Nightingale around with ease.
Paradise Lock would be applied on Nightingale, with Martinez & Diamante breaking her free using a set of dropkicks. Diamante would work to keep Nightingale away from a tag, yanking her by the hair to the mat, and dragging her back into the corner. Straight Jacket Clutch was applied, but Nightingale was able to power free before taking a stiff lariat.
Statlander would get the much needed tag from Nightingale, and would use Diamante & Martinez against each other, setting up a DDT and sweeping the leg. Double Sentons would follow from Statlander & Nightingale, before Nightingale was sent to the floor by Diamante.
A stunner would follow, sending Statlander to the floor before Martinez threw Diamante onto their challengers with a Razors Edge.
Back in the ring, Nightingale was thrown by Martinez – but came back with the Pounce. Diamante would assist in the pinfall on Nightingale after a roll up, ensuring they got the victory. Statlander & Nightingale were furious, but the referee’s call was final.
Samoa Joe Demands An Answer From The Real World Champion
Samoa Joe put out a challenge to CM Punk for All In – but has yet to hear back. Tonight, he is in action once again, ready to claim another singles victory as he moves close to being the longest reigning ROH World Television Champion of all time. Andrew Everett would be his opponent, an accomplished name in ROH – but making his Collision debut.
Joe would start with a series of fast jabs, before the combination enziguri in the corner. Everett was already rocked, and Joe would watch as he used his agility for a springboard.
Joe would walk aside, but Everett stuck the landing… only to take a stiff lariat. Rear Naked Choke would be applied, and this match was over just like this.
Addressing the crowd, Joe would say he came here tonight for the answer of a champion – but has got nothing but silence from a coward. The ‘Real’ World Champion is acting like a real bitch, and Joe is almost done asking.
Punk had a chance to answer, but now Joe intends to take matters in his own hands. Joe is going to do whatever it takes to make this match happen.
What will Joe do to make Punk agree to this match for All In? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
