Hello and welcome to OVW TV 1109 Recap!

This looks like it’s going to be a fun episode, so let’s get it going!

Brian Pillman Jr. defeated KTD by pinfall

A cool fact that was pointed out is these two were trained together and it showed as they had a good chemistry.

It was a balanced match before Pillman took it over and hit a superkick and the M1 Grand for the pin.

After the match, Pillman grabbed the mic and said he’s in the ring every week dominating to get that one shot at the OVW Heavyweight Championship.

He added how Tony Gunn hasn’t been defending his championship and called him a paper champion.

He challenged Gunn to a match on December 5 in a steel cage.

Ashton Cove challenges for Tony Bizo’s jacket

Tony Bizo approached Ashton Cove backstage and the two exchanged barbs as Bizo couldn’t get over losing to Cove.

When asked what it’ll take to get Cove into the ring, Cove said he has to put his letterman’s jacket on the line and Bizo agreed.

Legacy of Brutality challenges the Tate Twins for the OVW Tag Team Championship

There was a little issue between the LOB and Ashcraft, with Big Zo and Ca$h Flow yelling at him for losing the tag titles.

Ashcraft went on about how the tag team championships are LOB property and that the Tate Twins screwed up when they put their hands on him.

He then said that he put into their contract on Saturday that they get a tag team championship rematch at any time and he said they’ll have their chance tonight.

He challenged them to a main event match, then they wondered why the Tate Twins weren’t there.

If the Tate Twins don’t show, they forfeit the championship.

Backstage, Cali Young confused Dimes and Jay Bradley for the Tate Twins, and Bradley sent her to search in the parking lot.

Ashton Cove defeated Tony Bizo by count out

Bizo started out in control as he needed the win and his jacket is priceless to him.

A cool move was Cove skinning the cat, and pulling Bizo out over the top rope with a leg scissors.

After a brief back and forth outside the ring, Cove hit a dropkick through the ropes to keep Bizo on the floor as the count reached ten.

This was a pretty cool way to end the match, and something we’ve been seeing more of in general.

Cove put the jacket on in the ring and Bizo attacked him from behind, stripped the jacket off him, and hammered on him until Dustin Jackson and Ryan Howe came out and chased him from the ring with his jacket.

    Tate Twin search continues

Cali was outside in the paring lit when a car pulled in and she certain it was the Tate Twins, but it wasn’t them.

She continued her search, but found a fan of hers instead. She misdirected his attention and ran away screaming.

Omar Amir called out Luscious Lawrence

Amir called out Luscious Lawrence and Dillon McQueen for running down the US military and Roman Rozell.

It led to a recap of Luscious Lawrence not being as injured as he claimed and they attacked Amir.

Back to the current show, Amir had his grandfather’s medals form World War II and while his grandfather was no longer with him, they are an inspiration to him.

Amir promised that Lawrence will pay for what he’s done to him.

He then asked everyone to stand up to recite the Pledge of Allegiance to show out unity, but before they could start Lawrence came out on a crutch we know he doesn’t need.

Amir called Lawrence out for having a crutch and Lawrence claimed he’s paralyzed.

Lawrence said his father was in the military and he was abused and claimed the military only abuses civilians, leading to Amir challenging him to a match.

When Lawrence asked what’s in it for him, Amir told him to get into the ring. Lawrence asked to see Amir’s grandfather’s medals and then said Amir has to put the medals on the line.

Amir accepted the terms and we’ll have a match after the commercial.

Luscious Lawrence defeated Omar Amir by pinfall

It didn’t take long for the fight to go to the floor and Amir dominated early, and continued it into the ring and then out of it for a while.

Lawrence took over during their second stint on the floor.

Haley J came out and distracted the referee so Lawrence could hit with a low blow and a running powerslam for the win.

This was the best match of the show, in OVW TV 1109 Recap opinion.

Legacy of Brutality (w/Josh Ashcraft) are now 5 time OVW Tag Team Champions

The LOB came out for their match, but there’s been no word from the Tate Twins.

Ashcraft introduced LOB as the soon to be 5 time Tag Team Champions when Al Snow came out and told him there’s no way he’ll win the tag team titles like this.

Ashcraft informed Al of what their contract says and that they can start the match and the referee can start a count.

Al said he understands it, but they owe it to the fans to have a real match.

Ashcraft said he didn’t owe the fans anything and made the referee start the match and the count.

The count reached ten and Ashcraft announced the LOB the new tag team champions.

    Al headed backstage defeated.

This was a fun show with an ending we never expected.
