The card for All Out continues to grow. We’re getting closer and closer, but the card is far from set. We only really know a few matches, namely Christian Cage vs. Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship, and PAC vs. Andrade El Idolo. However, we got two more announced tonight on AEW Dynamite.
Young Bucks To Defend In Steel Cage, Paul Wight Getting Back Into The Ring
First up, we’d see QT Marshall interrupt a segment between Tony Schiavone and Paul Wight. Last week, Paul Wight came to the aid of Schiavone when he was being bullied by The Factory. This week, QT and pals would try to verbally abuse Wight, and embarrass him on TV. They exposed pictures of his injured hips and scars. However, that doesn’t matter. Paul Wight already has the match set for All Out, and he’ll be facing QT Marshall.
Soon after, we’d catch up with The Elite backstage. They had retained their AEW World Tag Team Championship in a hard fought match against Jurassic Express earlier tonight, but it was due to interference from the Elite. When they defend at All Out, they will have to win a steel cage match. A tournament has been set to determine their challengers, with Private Party, Varsity Blondes, Lucha Bros, & Jurassic Express all in the mix.
Team Taz Attacks Brian Cage Again
Things are now fine in Team Taz, as they have removed Brian Cage from the group and have the FTW Championship around the waist of Ricky Starks. However, now they have an enemy in Brian Cage, who is dangerous indeed, and Ricky Starks will have to deal with Cage tonight in the ring.
Taz & Hook would be in the ring, and would introduce Ricky Starks down to the ring. He’d hang out on the ramp and had a microphone, and would let everyone know that he really wants to fight Brian Cage. Or even just talk. He wanted Cage to come out, but backstage Powerhouse Hobbs had taken Cage down.
Cage would hop up, and start beating Hobbs down in retaliation. Starks & the rest of Team Taz would hit the road to go save Hobbs, before the segment ended. This match is still to come, but won’t be coming tonight. The match was promoted last week, but something had changed between the announcement and showtime.
Will Brian Cage be able to defeat Ricky Starks? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
