At Best In The World, Chelsea Green was announced as part of the new and improved Women’s division, and tonight she will be stepping into the ring for the first time. It will be tag team action where she will team with Willow to take on the very promising names of Rok-C & Miranda Alize. Green is still nursing a fractured wrist, but is ready to get back into the ring and show that doesn’t matter.
Ring of Honor Shows Off Their Talented Women’s Division
Willow would bring her infectious energy to the ring, before shoving Alize to the corner. Alize would get her down with an armdrag, before hitting a headbutt and a huge chop. Willow would flex her power, as Rok-C tagged in and couldn’t get her down. A big strike in the midsection took her down before some rapid suplexes. Rok-C got her down with a big armdrag, before taking out Green on the apron.
Alize dove to the outside, before Rok-C missed a tag and took a missile dropkick from Green. Green hit some short arm lariats, but Rok-C rolled her up for a backflip knee strike. Willow tagged back in and hit a big boot before a blind tag to Green, a senton and a scoop slam to Green onto Rok-C. Green went for a big German Suplex, before Rok-C had to tag out.
Willow met Alize, but was sent into the corner for the Street Sweeper kick and a running bulldog for a two count. Rok-C hit a flying crossbody, but Green broke the fall up before nailing a cutter. Alize took Green out with a ripcord kick, and Willow nailed the Babe Breaker on Alize, a cannonball on Rok-C, but missed a moonsault. Rok-C nailed Code Rok, and got the win.
A chaotic and well rounded tag team match, showing four of their best ladies. The crowd was into it, it never dragged, or overstayed its welcome. A nice simple match. Match Rating: 2.5/5 (** 1/2)
Shane Taylor Promotions have had an iron grip on the ROH Six Man Tag Team Championships, but tonight is something you truly can’t plan for. They have to take on the aptly named Incoherence. Delirious is a name that ROH fans know well, but Hallowicked & Frightmare mostly made their names in the now defunct Chikara. This will be their first time teaming together since 2010, and the first time in ROH. Another unexpected name in this match was UltraMantisBlack, who hung out on commentary for this one after leading them to the ring.
Ultramantis Black Is Here With Incoherence
Code of Honor was adhered to, but Shane Taylor had some trash talk. Delirious went right after Kaun, who was too big for Delirious to drop with a shoulder tackle. A Manhattan Drop would stun Kaun, before a stalemate was found. Hallowicked and Moses would enter the ring, with Hallowicked being a clear fan favorite.
Moses would go for a big body block before being dodged by Hallowiked into a roll up, and sent to the corner with a hurricanrana. Hallowicked got a roll up over the top, and Frightmare was in for some big kicks and a moonsault. Shane Taylor tagged in, and Frightmare slapped him in the face before a big pump kick. Frightmare would then be all but knocked out with a right hand, and a brawl broke out. Delirious would hit a huge DDT, and Frightmare nailed a dive.
We were back to start in this match, as Delirious was hit with a cutter and big boot to send him to the outside as he was put right into a lawn dart. Frightmare would hit a PK and fall for his troubles. Hallowicked tried to get this one back under control, but Shane Taylor Promotions was firmly in control. He’d end up in a neutral corner and take out SOS, before getting the tag to Delirious.
Shane Taylor Promotions Are Pushed Beyond Their Limits
A flurry of strikes battered him, and the misdirection kept Moses guessing. Kaun took a German Suplex before a running kick and Moses got a running knee. A diving headbutt, moonsault knees, but the pin was broken up. Shane Taylor & Hallowicked traded blows, but another huge punch was uncorked.
Frightmare in and out with a lariat, but Delirious kept fighting. Shane Taylor was nailed with Headless Horseman and a huge splash, but Kaun made the save. Kaun would block Go To Sleepy Hollow and get a huge gutbuster. Moses would part the red sea on the outside, before Frightmare in the ring took a huge knee strike and rolled Shane Taylor up for a two. A kick was blocked, and another big knee from Taylor was followed by Marcus Garvey Driver for the win.
A stupidly fun tag team match, which was truly one of a kind. The fans were hyped for this reunion, and they delivered a very fun match. Shane Taylor Promotions were able to hold their ground, but faced their most unique challenge to date. We were transported to somewhere great with this one. It’s matches like this that make wrestling so much fun. Match Rating: 4/5 (*** 3/4)
