On the August 18th, 2021 episode of AEW Dynamite, fans got to witness a very special moment. Sammy Guevara would get down on one knee with his partner of eight years in front of him, proposing in front of fans in the arena and worldwide on TV. His partner, Pam Nizio would accept – and seemingly they were set to live happily ever after. However, as per Sammy Guevara on social media, things didn’t go as planned.
Sammy Guevara Is Single Now
Taking to Instagram and other social media accounts, Sammy Guevara would have the following to say – as he updated fans on his relationship status.
“I know a lot of you have supported us for a long time and we have appreciated it so much over the past several years. Since you’ve all given us so much love and support we figured we owed it to y’all to let you know that we are no longer in a relationship. We still love each other and wish nothing but the best for one another. We would appreciate your kindness and respect our privacy during this time.”
Sometimes things just don’t work out as planned, and it’s good to hear that this relationship has at least ended on good terms, from how this is worded. Pam was a frequent face on the vlogs of Sammy Guevara, giving fans quite the connection to their relationship.
Still Going Steady As TNT Champion
Meanwhile on AEW TV, Guevara is in the middle of a reign as TNT Champion. He’s been impressive in matches against the likes of Jay Lethal & Ethan Page, but has his biggest test yet as he faces Cody Rhodes on the Christmas Eve edition of AEW Rampage. Rhodes is a two time TNT Champion, and wouldn’t mind becoming the first three time champion as well.
On last night’s episode of Rampage, Rhodes would brawl with Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky after being verbally attacked by Dan Lambert, with his brother Dustin also getting involved. Guevara had to run in to save both of them. It seems like Guevara will retain, with Rhodes having bigger fish to fry at the moment now with Men of The Year & Dan Lambert breathing down his neck.
