The engagement between the couple was confirmed in February, 2020 but a lot of plans were put on hold, initially because the couple had their first child together—Callum, and a while after, the Coronavirus Pandemic struck. The 43-year-old Actress said at the time that they decided to “put everything on pause.”

Jenna Dewan was formerly married to Channing Tatum, with whom she shares a daughter—Everly. They were married for 9 years up until April 2018 when they decided to get separated.
When she spoke about planning for the wedding, Jenna mentioned the rise in COVID-19 cases, especially the new Omicron variant, and how it would most likely affect gatherings, thereby affecting the wedding. “Can we gather?
How safe is it?” she asked. “So we’re going to take our time, we’re not rushing and we’re going to see kind of how the next year shakes out and go from there.”
The Bride-to-be admitted that it was difficult to wait to get married, as she wants to be able to plan a wedding, no matter the size—big, medium, or small. But at the moment, “It is what it is.”
Jenna And Steve Enjoy Getaway To Mark Their Daughter’s Birthday
Jenna and Steve, upon deciding not to rush through things, have been enjoying their time together as an engaged couple. Recently, the duo embarked on a getaway for Jenna’s birthday. When speaking about this day on Daily Pop, Jenna stated that “One of my favorite places in all of the land are these hot springs, and (she) had like a fun weekend away.”
Jenna had also posted pictures and videos of herself and her 46-year-old fiancé, which she captioned, “Couldn’t have dreamed up a better getaway if I tried. Thank you baby.” Which she ended with a red heart emoji, and some stars. Also, one of the things this family has been up to is giving back. Jenna had mentioned previously that ‘giving back’ has helped her bond well with her daughter, Everly.
