Legado Del Fantasma but are always ready to compete at a top level. They meet the underdog duo of Edris Enofe & Malik Blade in the first round – but would be fools to overlook these rookies.
Legado Del Fantasma Forgot To Never Take Your Eyes Off An Opponent
Wilde would kick things off with Blade, who had new gear to match Enofe. He’d nail some armdrags before a rush into the corner. Enofe would tag himself in and hit a standing moonsault – before a reverse slingblade. Mendoza got a tag in, and hit a double spinebuster with Wilde for a two count. Enofe would be able to get the tag, and Blade rushed in.
Santos Escobar ran a distraction, but Bron Breakker pulled him away from the rin. Enofe would grab a roll up pin as Mendoza was distracted, and you can consider the brackets busted after this insane victory! No one saw this coming, but Enofe & Blade are now rolling with back to back wins. This puts them up against the winners of MSK & Jacket Time.
Big Fight Feel
WALTER is here in NXT 2.0, and that is bad news for anyone who dares to get in his face. Diamond Mine were quick to stand up to him, with Malcolm Bivens prone to talking trash. WALTER was ready to take him out recently, but Roderick Strong stepped up – and now they will meet for their first singles match since 2007 in WXW.
Diamond Mine got two wins tonight, and Strong has the biggest match of all. Beating WALTER would skyrocket Strong in NXT 2.0 – but only one man has been able to beat WALTER in singles action since coming to WWE. Strong would be careful starting this match, before having a hard arm wrench take him down.
He’d be stretched and bent by WALTER, before being caught in a powerslam attempt. Strong threw a chop, and WALTER levelled him with a return shot. It was a dull thud, and a neck crack would follow. Strong was back up and throwing more strikes – before taking a boot to the jaw and hitting the mat again.
WALTER Takes The Best That Roderick Strong Has – And Survives
Bivens would try to run a distraction, and was able to get Strong a single blow in. A shotgun dropkick through the ropes just saw WALTER catch Strong, and dropped him hard on the apron. Back in the ring, WALTER would apply a crossface hold, sucking the life out of Strong.
Strong would get a boot to the face of WALTER before a dropkick to the back of the head. A hard chop hit WALTER, before Strong looked to hit the Angle Slam. WALTER moved into a sleeper hold – and Strong blocked with a jawbreaker. The sleeper was reapplied, and Strong pulled from the skillbook of Dunne and bent the fingers.
WALTER would take some running elbow strikes, before coming back with a heavy lariat. He’d go up top for the splash, and Strong would leap up for a superplex attempt. Strong was dropped with a chop, but came back with a kick and nailed the superplex – but this was only two.
WALTER would leap over Strong to dodge a elbow strike, before being nailed with the Sick Kick for a two count. He’d go for a takedown, but WALTER turned him around and nailed the chop. WALTER looked for the powerbomb but was countered. Strong looked for a backbreaker but was dropped, and the powerbomb landed for the win.
