We are finally at Episode 200 of Being The Elite, and it is being celebrated in the only way The Young Bucks know. They laced up their boots, put on their outlandish pants, and gave the world a match that hasn’t been seen since they were known as Max & Jeremy Buck in 2011. They didn’t have a ring, but they have a house, tennis court, backyard and even a pool. Who would survive when brothers fight at the BTE Compound?

The Fight Begins With A Surprise Attack

The fight would begin on the Tennis Court, as Nick Jackson would dive on top of his brother to start the brawl as the bell sound was edited in. Matt would attempt to get back some momentum by throwing Nick at the Tennis net, but Nick would jump clean over it. Not to be outdone, Matt would flip over it to take Nick down. Matt would attempt a Sliced Bread onto the concrete, but Nick countered and hit a spin kick before throwing Matt into the nearby wall. They would trade some heavy shots, before Nick would take this match elsewhere.

After going up some stairs, Matt hit the first Superkick to regain control, then placing Nick in a patio chair to deliver some heavy chops. Nick fought back and would attempt a powerbomb, only to be dumped onto his back. This got a near fall, as they worked their way to the driveway where they would take a ride on a golf cart. They brawled for the short drive, before crashing into a fence near their gym area.

Nick called for a Brainbuster, but Matt countered, only to be hit with a hard spinning back elbow. He would springboard off a weight bench, only to be caught in a Powerslam, which got a two count. Matt would quickly follow up with a DDT, for another near fall. Nick would finally get a near fall with a sunset flip off the weight bench, but Matt would roll out and get one of his own as they traded falls until Nick hit a German Suplex.

The Best Backyard Wrestling Match In Being The Elite History

Leaving the gym area, Nick would swing the a door into Matt, continuing control as they moved to the backyard. Nick Jacksons kids would watch from the window as they bludgeoned each other with shots until the curtain was pulled down, they would need to wait for the YouTube upload. Nick would redden the chest of Matt with chops, before they traded some Suplexes on the grass. After flipping out of a German Suplex attempt, Nick would hit a big Discuss Lariat for a near fall. He would then attempt to throw Matt into the nearby pool, but a counter nearly sent Nick in.

Back on the grass, Matt Jackson would hit 5 Northern Lights Suplexes in a row on Nick, before Nick used the fence to hit a DDT to break free. They fought their way out the yard, and Nick would hit the second & third Superkicks of the match to place Matt onto a conveniently set up table. Nick would climb a nearby structure, doing him best Jeff Hardy impression doing a Sawton Bomb through the table for a near fall.

In a truly disgusting display, Nick would stick the head of Matt under water in the pool. In response once he got oxygen back in his lungs, Matt would hit a the fourth & fifth Superkicks followed by Canadian Destroyer off the diving board. They would lure the ref into the pool as Matt tried to pin Nick, which raises many questions as there was no near ground for Nicks shoulders to be on.

    Things Would Get Weird

Nick Jackson would take things supernatural, as he transported Matt to a world of magic, where they took on the role of the Rockers on the Barber Shop. Nick Jackson was dressed as Shawn Michaels, and Matt was Marty Jannetty. After the sixth superkick, that coward Matt Jackson would jump through the barber shop window in an act of cowardice to escape his brother.

Back to reality,  they are now on a raised platform resembling an exposed wrestling ring, as Nick would hit the back of Matt with a shovel. They ran into each other with some lariats and attempt some kicks, with Nick hitting a powerbomb for a near fall. Nick would then try to throw his brother off, but Matt would hit a tombstone piledriver instead. Matt would slip away to grab a thumbtack filled boot, hit the eighth Superkick, shove Nick off the structure with a ninth after saying “I’m Sorry, I love you”, and hitting an elbow drop to end this match.

This was an entertaining tribute to both Being The Elite and wrestling as a whole, with recent cinematic matches like the Boneyard & Firefly Funhouse matches referenced, all with the charm expected from The Young Bucks. It’s unclear if this was properly sanctioned by AEW, but if it was, then I feel Matt Jackson should be next in line for Jon Moxley.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
