During the pandemic era of All Elite Wrestling, The Dark Order has become a huge faction with the unveiling of The Exalted One, Mr. Brodie Lee. While he was able to assemble his troops with names like Preston Vance (aka 10), Alex Reynolds and John Silver, he lost his key players. Evil Uno & Stu Greyson were the origin point for The Dark Order in AEW, and were climbing the ranks as one of the top tag teams in the company. However, due to them being residents of Canada, they were unable to be at the last few sets of taping for AEW due to travel restrictions, but that issue might be resolved for them.
United States Opens It’s Borders To Professional Athletes
Acting secretary of homeland security for the United States Of America, Chad Wolf signed an order that will allow professional athletes to be allowed back into the United States. He would say the following in a statement published by the DHS.
“Professional sporting events provide much needed economic benefits, but equally important, they provide community pride and national unity, In today’s environment, Americans need their sports. It’s time to reopen the economy and it’s time we get our professional athletes back to work.”
While this is more likely directed at players of the NHL, NBA, NFL and more, but it should cover professional wrestlers as well. Professional wrestling was deemed essential in Florida, where WWE & AEW are currently based.
The Dark Order Will Rise In The Face Of Defeat
At Double Or Nothing, Mr. Brodie Lee gave Jon Moxley the biggest fight he’s gotten in 2020. This is impressive when you view the matches with the likes of Chris Jericho & Minoru Suzuki. Despite this, he would not leave with the AEW Championship around his waist like he intended, being choked out by Moxley and left a bloody mess. This was a crushing blow for the faction, and they are in need of good news following this. While Evil Uno & Stu Greyson have lost their status as number one contenders to AEW Tag Team Champions Hangman Page & Kenny Omega, they will be able to rebuild their claim to that fairly quickly, especially once inspired by Mr. Brodie Lee.
