The current AEW champions are Kenny Omega and Hangman Adam Paige. Who has been on a very rocky road and it’s surely going to explode at any point? Even though we, as fans, have learned to love this random combination of great wrestlers. Hangman has hinted at turning on Kenny Omega once or twice. Even now, that looks like it won’t happen in a long time. It could be sooner than we think…
Fyter Fest could be explosive!
Even though there are some amazing Tag-Teams that could go up against them. The Best Friends could easily be the people to finally beat them. This is due to their very big push throughout their careers at AEW. A massive part of this is what they’ve said recently. That they have never been Tag-Team champions before. This definitely seems like a massive hint that it’s about to change and it kind of seems like they’re ready for the belts. Although, this could be just the placeholder for when the Bucks or FTR get the belts. With them being arguably the best Tag-Teams which haven’t got the belt. Then if they did, Hangman turned on Kenny Omega. It would most likely put Fyter Fest on a higher-level event. Also, if Jon Moxley can’t wrestle on Night 2 of Fyter Fest. Wouldn’t you want to see Kenny Omega Vs. Hangman Paige on the second night?
If Kenny and Hangman win, who’s next?
There are loads of different Tag-Teams that could go up against Kenny and Hangman. There’s the Lucha Bros that would have an amazing match with them. Then there are the obvious ones like FTR or Young Bucks. I think it would be better if it was FTR Vs. Young Bucks for the first time, it should be for the belts, but that’s just me. Although if I was going to pick one Tag-Team that should be the next champions it would be Dark Order. With them having a new Tag-Team of Brodie and Colt to give them true domination which would be a good idea to give them the titles. This would start to put Dark Order back on top. Even if it will hopefully happen at some point, the sooner, the better because JOIN THE DARK ORDER.
