Last week was one of the biggest episodes of AEW Dynamite ever, capped off by Jon Moxley’s last defense of the AEW World Championship. Kenny Omega is our new champion, after some help from Don Callis. After showing up on Impact Wrestling alongside Callis to make his first address as AEW World Champion. However, tonight Kenny Omega comes back to AEW to speak to the fans there as well, and has a big surprise in store. He’ll have to keep things brief however, he’s got a match with Larado Kid in Mexico on his agenda. It isn’t easy being the Best Bout Machine.
Kenny Omega Is Here
Omega & Callis arrived in a helicopter, before making their way to the ring. Alex Marvez wanted an interview, but had to wait until they got to the ring. Justin Roberts did the long introduction, with accomplishments like a 12 match win streak, and being the first man to be AEW World & Tag Team Champion.
He now has four cleaner ladies for his entrance, and will soon have the full Jaguars cheerleading team. Omega hit the ring, and Schiavone started the questions. He’d ask about the gentlemans agreement, and say he’s downright disgusted by Callis. Callis took the microphone, and said that everyone is upset, even Tony Khan who invited him here.
Callis screwed Khan? Welcome to the wrestling business, that lesson was free. Last night, they showed up on Impact Wrestling, and years of planning worked out. He’d go through how they created AEW by booking Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho, which got Khan interested.
The fans wanted The Best Bout Machine, but they forgot that he wasn’t just big matches.
Goodbye… and Goodnight!
Omega would take the microphone, and say he didn’t beg Tony Khan for Callis to come here. They waited over a year, and things worked out perfectly. Now he’s got the biggest prize in all of pro wrestling, and call last weeks match a seven star performance. It was fine art, and everyone fell for his act.
Even if you didn’t fall for it? Why should Omega care! He’s the champion. They just needed Jon Moxley to fall for it, he was the important piece. Omega used a microphone, but it was One Winged Angel that did it.
Callis would say that more is coming, and Omega makes history. He’d do his classic ‘Goodbye and goodnight… BANG!’
