Lucha Libre star, Super Crazy will wrestle this weekend for Coastal Championship Wrestling (CCW). The company, headed by trainer Pablo Marquez, will run its second show during the pandemic.
Super Crazy is arguably one of the best Mexican veterans alive in the international scene. Crazy, a former WCW and WWE superstar, has been all over the world in recent years, including Puerto Rico, Japan, Germany, among others.
CCW has been known to bring fellow Latin American wrestlers into their show. Its previous event featured former WWE Tag Team Champions, Primo, and Epico Colon. The Puerto Rican duo won the CCW Tag Team titles amid the pandemic.
The Florida show will feature:
Huge touring announcement!
The Insane Luchador, Super Crazy is coming to The Music City, and he’s ready for a fight!
Luchamania 2020 will be the wrestling event of the summer!
Being held outdoors (indoors if inclement weather) and following social distancing protocols, be ready for hard hitting action packed wrestling and lucha libre competition.
The Manager of Champions Bill Alfonso unleashes his undefeated Brazilian Destroyer. The Breakneck Kid Alex Ocean has cast an open hardcore challenge. CCW World Heavyweight Champion Agony will defend his world title, and in the main event, The Insane Luchador Super Crazy will show Nashville why he’s still one of the greatest high flyers in the world.
What about Pablo Marquez and his ties with CCW?
CCW’s owner was previously in hot waters with the accusations by Chelsea Duren. The #speakingout wave that reveled the monstrous behavior of various wrestlers from the United Kingdom wrestling scene and even WWE against fellow women and men, landed too on Marquez. (From rape to sexual assault, almost all of the WWE UK division was accused.) The accusations by Duren are vivid and horrifying, here are the tweets:

Durden could not continue to part 5: “To everyone else he has hurt, I am so, so sorry. I’m here. I feel your pain. I love you. He will never, ever hurt you ever again.
Pt. 5.”
Is uncertain why many media outlets have not reported on CCW’s ties with Pablo Marquez and the accusations against him. Mecha Wolf 450 confirmed on his Facebook that he heard Chelsea’s story and that, he stopped supporting CCW one year ago.
The Colons wrestled the following night after the accusations, but, there was no mention of the incident. Extreme Action Park received numerous announcements of letting someone accused of rape run his show in their venue. The building told a fan that they had directed Pablo Marquez not to attend the show.

A Colombian student of Marquez, James Cage, came to Pablo’s defense. Citing that there’s an order of restriction against Chelsea and that judge had ruled against her testimony against Marquez. (Chelsea alleges that the restriction order was against Marquez and that was granted to her. Moreover, she still holds the recordings of the case.) The same was for Jaguar Ecuatoriano, who said that Marquez was “amicable” and that it would be “unfair” for people to take advantage of his character.
