NXT Takeover War Games is now fast approaching, and it’s time for the landscape of that show to become clear. Tonight, we will see who gets the advantage in the match between Undisputed Era & The Kings Of NXT with a high stakes ladder match. Ember Moon will face Candice LeRae in what could be an instant classic. Making everything better, former NXT Champion Kevin Owens is in the building on commentary, and who knows what he has planned. Let’s break down what was announced, and what else we can expect to see.

Pete Dunne Enters The Ladder Match For The Kings Of NXT

With War Games close ahead, we need to figure out which team gets the advantage in the coming match. Pete Dunne has stepped up for the Kings Of NXT, giving Undisputed Era a chance to think out this coming ladder match.

Will they go with Adam Cole, the man who got them the advantage a year ago in a ladder match with Dominik Dijakovic? Roderick Strong who previously teamed with Dunne? Kyle O’Reilly who is proving himself as a top singles star? The trick of Undisputed Era is they know exactly how good they all are, and what everyone’s strengths are. This could be the start of a successful campaign for UE.

Ember Moon Looks For Revenge

Last week on NXT, Ember Moon & Toni Storm united to take out Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez, in a great tag team match. Afterwards though, Candice LeRae and her new protege, Indi Hartwell would go ahead for a sneak attack and left Moon & Storm laying. LeRae did this to hopefully gain allies for War Games against Team Shotzi Blackheart, but in the process turned Ember Moon against her, and she wants payback tonight.

What Is Kevin Owens Doing Back In NXT?

Last year during the War Games match, Kevin Owens was the surprise last man for team Keith Lee, and he was able to tip the balance of the match and help them towards a win. The former NXT Champion is back tonight to join Vic Joseph and Beth Phoenix on commentary, but could he have more planned? He’s had a rough year on RAW & Smackdown, and seeing former rival Finn Balor return to NXT and reclaim the top spot might have this unpredictable Canadian with some extra intentions.
