Hello and welcome to OVW TV 1122 Recap!
This should be a fun show as we get to see the aftermath of OVW’s Tough Love Pay-per-view, so let’s buckle up and get right to it.
The show started in the locker room with Tony Gunn telling Jessie Godderz that it’s all out in the open now and every knows what happened.
Godderz pretended not to know what happened, and Gunn said it was his idea and now everyone knows he attack KTD.
Godderz said no one cares and they only care about bitcoin and sharks in the water. He then headed off, leaving Gunn confused.
OVW Women’s Championship – “HollyHood” Haley J w/Luscious Lawrence Defeated Mazzerati (c) by Pinfall
The match started simple enough with Haley J trying to upstage Mazzerati, and Mazzerati letting her know what she thought of that.
After a flurry of pin attempts, the pace slowed down as they exchanged kicks and Haley J gained the upper hand for a time.
After absorbing a bridge release suplex, Haley J rolled to the apron where Lawrence gave her brass knuckles.
Haley J nailed Mazzerati while Lawrence distracted the referee and scored the pin to become the new OVW Women’s Champion.
“The Golden Boy” AJZ Defeated Chico Addams by Pinfall
This should be a fun match with Addams making his OVW debut and calling himself the future of sports entertainment.
This was a fun match as AJZ controlled through most of it, but Addams made a comeback and had numerous pin attempts.
After a series of clotheslines by Addams, AJZ rebounded to hit a 262 for the win.
The Good Word with Reverend Ronnie Barnes
The reverend was pleased to announce he has a new and bigger collection plate, and that means the collections need to be bigger as well.
He then introduced “Mr. PEC-Tacular” Jessie Godderz w/Shannon the Dude, and “Shotgun” Tony Gunn.
Gunn didn’t have a donation for him and Barnes said once a championship is gone the Champion goes broke.
Barnes then went on how Gunn and Godderz attacked KTD and set up the Legacy of Brutality and asked him to confess.
Godderz chose then to come out, his music preventing Gunn from saying anything.
Godderz then cut Barnes off and said nothing happened, and Gunn told him everyone knows what happened.
Godderz continued to claim there was nothing to confess, and Gunn said everyone knows Godderz is delusional.
Omar Amir and KTD came out and chased them from the ring, and then backed them toward the ramp as LOB came out, catching Gunn and Godderz between a rock and a hard place.
Godderz and Gunn ran out a side door with Omar and KTD in pursuit.
OVW TV 1122 Recap can’t wait to watch this develop.
Super Heavyweight Open Challenge – “Big Money” Dimes Defeated Dapper Dan by Pinfall
Dimes told Dan to wait and pulled out some money from his sock and handed it to Dan to lay down, and When Dimes turned around Dad nailed him with a series of shots and an elbow drop.
Dimes hit a cutter when Dan was sealing with the referee for the win.
It’s always good to see the first Anarchy Champion in action, but this was too quick. Oh, and Dimes took the money back.
Omar Amir and KTD Defeated “Shotgun” Tony Gunn and “Mr. PEC-Tacular” Jessie Godderz w/Shannon the Dude by Pinfall
They wasted no time as Amir and LTD beat down Gunn while Godderz was shining his belt, then they turned their attention to Godderz before the match started.
Gunn and Godderz gained the upper hand thanks to Shannon distracting the referee, and they worked over KTD’s injured left arm.
There was a cool tug of war between Godderz and KTD as they both tried to tag out.
All four took each other out and Legacy of Brutality came out with Josh Ashcraft at their head.
The LOB tried to get into the ring and the four inside fought to keep them out, and Gunn and Godderz used the distraction to hit simultaneous rollups for near pinfalls as LOB headed to the back.
Godderz shoved Gun into Amir for Amir to hit his spinebuster for the win.
This was a fun match, but it felt off at how easily the LOB were taken to the back by officials.
