Next week on AEW Dynamite, there is just a single match on the card. It will be The Inner Circle & The Pinnacle. You already have 10 explosive elements right there, but what if you add in two rings, and close them into steels cages? You will get Blood & Guts. This historic match is very close, but tonight MJF & Jericho lead their troops to the ring for a face to face meeting, which will likely end in a brawl itself.
The Pinnacle Get The Advantage
The Pinnacle hit the ring first with some security, but The Inner Circle arrived on motorcyles as the crowd loudly sang along to Judas by Fozzy. With all ten men in the ring with only Tony Schiavone between them, this one was intense.
The advantage in Blood & Guts was supposed to be determined via a coin toss, but Shawn Spears claims that the Pinnacle deserves the egde because they were lured into this match. Spears would warn them that The Pinnacle are willing to sacrifice everything for this match.
Jericho is dragging everyone in The Inner Circle into deep water, and Spears plans on crushing Guevara while he drives. Guevara called Spears a failure in both AEW & WWE, and on May 5th, Spears will fail again. While fired up, Guevara offers both the advantage and says that he will start the match for The Inner Circle, and The Pinnacle gets the advantage.
MJF Plans To Take Chris Jericho’s Spot
This would be accepted, but this wasn’t over. Wheeler would ask Santana & Ortiz to bring the Santana & Ortiz that got them to AEW, not the soft Jericho lapdogs they’ve been. Harwood would say that when the door slams shut at Blood & Guts, he’s not afraid to die, but are Santana & Ortiz? Are they ready to leave their kids behind as they walk into hell? Because Harwood is gonna make sure they don’t come home.
Santana & Ortiz kept a level head, and on May 5th, they’re let their hands do the talking. MJF finally would speak, and focused on Jericho. He knows that Jericho & The Inner Circle are important to the start of AEW, but he knows the pressure is weighing on him. Jericho puts the company on the line every time and gives a bad performance.
Jericho is exhausted, and MJF is going to put him down. But Jericho is only exhausted because of his long career that got him to the top of the world. If MJF wants Jericho’s spot, it’s time to earn it. Wardlow & Hager didn’t speak, and just stared each other down instead. Next week, only one of these factions will be walking out. Who will it be?
