At the moment, it feels like Legends are an excellent fit for AEW. WWE and Impact was the place for Legends to go when they wanted to carry on with wrestling. But AEW is quickly becoming the place Legends go to retire from future Legends like Bryan Danielson and Big Show going to AEW and actual Legends like Jake the Snake, Tully Blanchard, Sting and Mark Henry all going to AEW. So it feels even more Legends are going to AEW with a lot of interaction between Legends and other AEW wrestlers.
Mick Foley
The first on the list is Mick Foley, who has been interacting with AEW for a while now, even criticising WWE. Mick Foley is even part of the upcoming Jon Moxley match in GCW in a match between Jon Moxley And Nick Gage. Of course, Mick Foley being the hardcore Legend, it’s an excellent place for Mick Foley to appear. But the interaction with Jon Moxley could mean that he may be appearing in AEW at some point in the future.
Return of the Hit Man
It has been announced that AEW will be holding a tournament in honour of the late great Owen Hart. It’s possible within this tournament Bret Hart may make a return to AEW after being the one who revealed the AEW championship as an already massive part of the company’s growth.
Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle has kind of teased a return to the square circle, but the tease was a double edge sword. With him saying he would need a lot of money and will only wrestle Kenny Omega. The return of Kurt Angle could be a very enjoyable return after his last match was a very poor one against Corbin and lost clean. If he comes to AEW for a match or two and then becomes a manager, it’s possible Kurt could have the send he deserves.
